I've never seen Rambo, so any references in Redridge are lost on me. I just like going around saving the team and then doing various missions with them. I think that's more fun than the Classic version. Uldum though, ugh. I was looking forward to that zone because I've been intrigued by the Tol'vir ever since I saw the Obsidian Destroyers in AQ. Instead of getting any meaningful lore about them (in an aesthetically beautiful zone) I get an Indiana Jones parody. The questing wasn't even fun, it was just as grindy and dull as all the other 80-85 zones.
I did Arathi (as Horde) for the first time last night and if I didn't know better I would've sworn I was playing Classic. It's probably the worst revamped zone I've played so far in terms of questing and if it weren't for getting the achievement I would've bailed. It fits the exact definition of suffering through kill quests multiple times for minimal rewards. A lot of the Kalimdor zones for Alliance aren't much better. I guess I need to do Stonetalon as Horde because I'd never do that zone again as Alliance.
Same. I'd get to 15 and start doing dungeons. Thankfully Elwynn came through mostly unscathed so I don't mind playing through it. Horde not so much. I still choose to level in Eversong/Ghostlands over the Cata-vamped zones.
