Firelands Normal and Heroic don't share a lockout?

Every week I run Firelands twice; once on Normal 25man, once on Heroic 25man. I've never really thought about it until a friend told me that was impossible, and anything I google says they share a lockout i.e it can only be run once per week. Am I VIP or is the majority wrong here?

Normal and Heroic don't share lockouts since BfA came out. They changed the rules on lockouts for legacy raids.

Although there's some weirdness there, but I think it's between 10 and 25 man, not normal/heroic.

In 8.2.5 they made Firelands flex, so it works like SoO and later raids.

Any particular reason as to why they made Firelands flex and not Dragon Soul?

It was confusing the heck outta me until I found this thread, b/c I finished the Dragonwrath quest this week on my druid after having run both difficulties in Firelands for the last 3-4 weeks; then I tried DS for my Rogues daggers this week and could only do the one Normal lockout that I started to get the initial quests done.

Edit: Found out it's apparently because Firelands will be a Timewalking raid or something.
The salt levels in my body may have doubled in the last 5 minutes :|

I'm pretty sure you can run Mythic, Heroic, and Normal mode raids each week without needing a reset.

You can run Firelands on both normal and heroic twice per week on 10 man and 25 man. I did it recently for the legendary staff on an alt.
