Horde Generation Z to be the most conservative generation

Generation Z will be far more conservative and far less politically correct than millennials.

I'm a part of the millennial generation, I'm 26 years old, yet I am tired of all the political correctness. This is refreshing to hear. We need a new breed of conservatives. Normal people hate political correctness. Made up nonsense concepts like cultural appropriation actually divide ups more than they unite us. Capitalism NOT SOCIALISM is the answer in the age of automation. We need a more robust foreign policy. Tradition and nuclear families should remain the center of our society.

In the 2040s, I expect us to be a more conservative country.

We can't really predict how the average Gen Zer will evolve over time so there's little point in political flagplanting. One regularity I do think remains constant across each generation is that they tend to rebel from their parents. Especially during their teen phase, so what their parent generation is like will be a top factor in their politics as they move into adulthood.

Let's go to a real source.

    https://www.pewsocialtrends.org/2019...itical-issues/

On a range of issues, from Donald Trump’s presidency to the role of government to racial equality and climate change, the views of Gen Z – those ages 13 to 21 in 2018 – mirror those of Millennials.1 In each of these realms, the two younger generations hold views that differ significantly from those of their older counterparts. In most cases, members of the Silent Generation are at the opposite end, and Baby Boomers and Gen Xers fall in between.2

Oh my look at that... apparently more of Gen Z thinks the GOVERNMENT SHOULD DO MORE to help people than Millennials. Fancy that.

Gen Z also is more likely to know someone with is non-gender conforming that isn't the type of thing that lends itself to becoming more conservative.

When it comes to say blacks aren't treated fairly, among people who identify as republican Gen Z are the most likely to say they aren't my my looks like they're more and more progressive.

Asking for bigger government roles. My my... not so conservative.

It is looking more and more that Gen Z in general is more progressive, than even Millennials.

Education, and a more diverse country tends to lend itself to progressivism not conservatism.

Of course conservative groups like the one the OP posted are busy off in Lala land, where saying something illegal on TV isn't actually saying something illegal on TV... so of course they'll say a generation that literally shows itself to be more progressive than the pervious, are in fact the most conservative modern generation!

Definitely sheltered babies that need to flaunt their privilege. Case en pointe ... constantly making political threads in the general forum.

Maybe it's genetic. Saw the video name.

Bradon Sorbo is the son of Hercules, and grown conservative baby, Kevin Sorbo.

I wouldn't say there inherently conservative, more from what I've seen teaching them sports they are alot more cynical and judgmental of people out side social norms which is directly opposed to what I rember being a teen in the 00s where during the mosh, emo, goth thing being different were prized, and that I think makes them lean conservative.

Meh, society is changing so rapidly I wouldn't put much stock into projecting the data very far into the future.

You don't really have to look at projections just look at the babies being born and their racial make up the right wing only has pandered to one demographic.

The data with have currently shows them to be rather progressive. More so than the previous generation, so this magical leap by conservatives groups to saying they're actually turning conservative is... bonkers. The generation that is most likely to know people who are gender non-conforming and has more open contact with non-hetero people. Are not going to cling to a dynamic directly opposed to that, it makes no sense.

I saw a statistic recently for younger people 20s or so, most are in interracial relationships now.

Like... oh yeah... younger mixed race generations are totally going to cling to the side of "fine kkk people" and "let's suppress that vote of people who don't look like me" people.

On my last point, we must all recall the papers that daughter found proving that republicans were aiming to specifically suppress non-white votes and scare brown people to not vote. I mean whoa... no no no a generation of mostly mixed people are not going to be cool with that.

Don't worry about racial and identity-based politics, it doesn't actually work over the mid/long run. Policy-based politics is what works in searching for the best performing policies.

So you think people are going to vote for a party that has spent decades demonizing their race? really? (see the black vote and now the Hispanic vote for context).

One side is virtually mostly almost entirely white men.. who are old and dying... and they're not replacing those dying members with new young non-white people.

Years ago the Republican Party wanted more minorities and were looking to try to recruit. But after tapping not scared people, they just decided to say "fuck it" I guess.

See the jewish vote, like 77% are Democrats, they're not voting for "fine neo-nazi" side.

lol... I just noticed who is featured in the thumbnail for that video. As if being the kid of a conservative shitbag like Kevin Sorbo (and involved in a lot of the same religious propaganda that his parents produce) isn't going to lead to having a warped outlook on the world.
