Well duh. The point wasn't that we're a hivemind (on the contrary I doubt there's a single thing WoW players are unified on), but simply an observation that we always see these sorts of topics when things/features are removed.
As I've said probably a thousand times on this forum, Blizz can't please everyone no matter what they do.
And yeah, its entirely possible that the OP is just trying to sound contrarian and trigger the 'burn TFing with fire!' crowd here, but you never know.
Regardless of whether it gets nerfed or not is not the point. Stop dancing around the facts.
Corruption is Titanforging. Now instead of pulling the slot machine for iLevel you're pulling it for traits.
There is ALWAYS a BiS trait that is infinitely better than the rest. Enjoy your casino, you seem to love it.
With TF gone, next item on the list is to re-instate Master Loot as a choice for mythic raiding.

Titanforging is boring. Warforging is fine, it's just a small bonus. Titanforging killed my soul during Legion. Put me off raiding hard, because the best BM hunter set was the Nighthold/EN one, nvm Convergence of Fates, so you were better off trying to get it high TF'd than anything else until some way through Antorus, if memory serves. That said, the fact that some of the legendaries you had also determined part of your playstyle didn't help.
Also the same reasons why I'm glad tier sets are gone, and I hope they stay gone, along with titanforging.

Implying that the WoW community should be absolutely homogeneous, akin to a hive mind, to be taken seriously. I never understood that "criticism", if you can ever call it so.
As for the subject at hand: it would have been nice if TF was simply removed (or at least severely curtailed), but it's been replaced with another shiny, fancy brush of RNG. I wonder how WoW survived all the way from Vanilla to WoD, when the only RNG was whether the boss dropped the item you wanted or not (and if you won the roll ofc).
Imagine being in a guild but having a job where your on call so you can't guarantee 100% attendance so you don't want to be a leech and waste a spot so you focus on content like high m+ keys instead. But now that is lame because you only need to run one a week then log out and wait. Imagine
I mean I agree with most of your statement but you messed one part up.

Legion is the expansion that introduced insane levels of RNG, Titanforging and multiple insane grinds like AP and Legendaries.
Some of the weapons from EP also had procs which were worth more than 10 ilvls. The staff from Azshara was crazy good in m+ and Divers Folly also did insane AOE damage for rogue and dh. Those weapons you couldn’t get from m+ and even though the ilvl was the same then the actual damage output was much higher than “regular” weapons.
