    Blizzard put out a hotfix

    “Players who have experienced crashes or freezes on MacOS systems can now change the Particle Density visual effects setting to “Disabled”. This should improve performance on MacOS systems.”

    Still makes the game semi - unplayable due to not seeing some mechanics

    Semi-unplayable until they can figure out a better fix is still better than entirely unplayable :P most major things should be visible under projected textures though.
