    They aren't.

I think they're basically the "light" version of the Forsaken. Overall they seem fanatical just like the Forsaken seem to do all the "Evil" stuff" but individuals aren't brainwashed and can still make choices and they clearly have no problems working with death knights, void elves, warlocks and demon hunters.

Lol.. imagine down the road everyone starts to become machines and the curse of flesh starts reversing since there are no more old gods. We need to go to the void and corrupt the planet with old gods again so that there remains a balance. The old gods were actually liberators that freed us from our tyrannical duty given to us by the titans! Sasuga!

The proper way to handle that situation is to inform Lorthemar of the situation, carefully examine the risks, and proceed cautiously - Not demand pilgrimidge, not say anything about it, and end up causing a giant fiasco for sake of causing trouble. (That last part being important - Why does she cause trouble again? Oh yeah, to make her hate the Horde more so she'll go to the Alliance. Just making note here for future reference.)

Whether she tried to or not is irrelevant. Anyone with half a mind to think about it would feel a level of guilt over accidently or otherwise nearly poisoning the lifeblood of their people. Except Alleria, apparently, who uses it to think even worse of her own people so she can act as an Alliance emissary. There's no depth to her - She's literally made to be an NPC. Her motivations are PURELY driven by Blizzard's need to use her as a plot device - Not due to personality.

Sounds more fanatical than any of the Lightforged, tbh, if we're looking to stay on topic.
We don't even know if it would've corrupted it.... it just served as a gateway for the Void, it doesn't mean that it would have turned into a purple well or blown up. There is literally no indication of that.

Also, Lor'themar was fully aware of her condition, he still didn't want to deny her one last visit to the Sunwell, and actually sided with her against Rommath when that issue was brought up.

Finally, she doesn't hate the blood elves at all, so much so that she wants them back in the Alliance. She doesn't even utterly despise the Horde, and was the only one to propose an armistice with Sylvanas to focus on N'Zoth.

If that happens, The Old Gods should henceforth from that day be worshipped as The New Gods of Azeroth!

They haven't shown any major signs of fanaticism besides one or two NPC's, the rest are just disciplined soldiers more so then regular draenei
