Brian Kemp is busy reopening Georgia way too early, as well. All in a desperate bid to save Trumps failed presidency and reelection bid. Not the only red state rushing things, either. All these idiots are going to to just prolong the pandemic, kill more people who shouldn't have died and prolong the lockdowns because of them creating new hotspots.
You realize the nation isn't ever going to be the same after this right? A lot of jobs have been lost. While I agree rushing opening the nation will only cause more death, people have a right to protest. Besides, their bodies, their choice, right?

It's not really their body when they spread the disease to dozens of other people.

Not when their shitty decisions don't just harm themselves, they have the possibility that it will infect the rest of their family, then their friends, then the rest of the town. Just like when that one guy came from out of town in a small Georgia town that went to a funeral, now pretty much the entire town got sick from it.

perhaps losing their job and business made them temporarily lose their common sense? Just a thought.

Low cost country = your country dies over time. I wonder if they will pass anti-coperation laws.

Sadly, the US had two oceans, time, and resources to do a lot better. It benefits us not one bit to try to pass some of the blame. The US caught the ball, broke past the defense, then fumbled the ball while doing a backflip over the goalline. Now we just got a flag for unsportsmanlike conduct for yelling at the ref for doing their job after we messed up. Man, I miss sports.

There plenty of citizens who are being absolutely ridiculous. Remember the Spring Breakers? How about record number crowds as 'stay at home' was rolling out. Lots of people were out on St Patricks Day, 'stay at home' was official in a lot of places by then. The packet restaurants. People hoarding PPE and toilet paper? Thank God some local city councils and mayors stepped over their inactive governors. How about the people protesting against 'stay at home' and those even protesting in front of essential workplaces?

It is bad to generalize an entire population but we can't pretend that a sizable portion is messing it up for everyone.

That is the point of the post, the guy is in a full protective gear at the same he is holding a poster dennying covid-19. Judging by the protective gear he his using he isn't dump, but since he is holding a poster dennying the stuff, he really enjoys to be called dump.

    Let's see 2 categories:

    A) I don't give a fuck how many people die as long as my job is not at risk.I don't owe them shit.
    B) I don't believe coronavirus is that dangerous. Media blows out this shit out of proportion.

What percentage of protesters falls under A) or B)?

Difficult to say but let's make a mental game. Let's say you are a protester and you need to sign a document. This document express your discomfort and it's a tool for political pressure but it implies you are gonna be low priority in a triage situation (including everyone that lives with you since your behavior puts them at the high risk group): if the health system collapses you are the last one in the list given that if the virus is a lie people don't die out of imaginary viruses and people with real viruses takes precedence.

It's easy to see most people on group B would be willing to sign it while most people in group A wont wich leads to a simple conclussion:

This is not being stupid and uninformed....this is not jesus is my vaccine..this is not B...this is A ...this is I'm a sociopath that sees empathy as a weakness because some people lured me into believing that's what freedom is ( Hint: it's not).

There was a headline that a pastor, a wealthy one, was asking his congregation to donate their stimulus checks to the church. Now that thought alone isn't bad IF he is just asking people if they are able to do so that the church spends the money on those in need. I know churches in my area have been working hard to help out displaced workers, people who may need groceries, bringing food to people, acquiring and distributing masks to people, etc.

Nope, the pastor in question is one of those who has already been fined for holding face-to-face service while ordered to stay-at-home. There's not much to say about the man without going into forbidden topics.

I'm loving all the parents who have to deal with their kids, parents having meltdowns over how hard it is to be a parent all day.
You signed up for it when you decided to carry the kid.
It's not like you weren't told how a kid can be.
No one held a gun to their head and said "Fuck, and keep whatever crawls out in 3 seasons!"

Since a lot of these protests are sponsored by Trump backing SuperPACS and groups including one linked to Betsy Devos it's possible he is getting paid.

Im guessing you chose not to have kids... The issue isnt really that people dont want to be parents its the dont want to have 6 hats. A lot are trying to work, be entertainment, disciplinarian, teacher, friend, and chef at the same time. Its stressful trust me. If the just canceled school for the year a lot of parents wouldnt be so stressed. At least thats how my home is right now. My wife trying to keep an adhd dyslexic child on task in her home setting not a school setting is causing a huge rift in our home. Also not being able to drop her off at her grandparents for a night so me and her can decompress is really starting to weigh on us as a couple.

I have ideological issues with some of Walmarts practices but they have been a leader in some aspects before governments even responded. They looked after their employees a bit better than Amazon too.

    Cutting store hours to clean.
Sanitizing high touch surfaces around the clock.
    Rationing essentials
    Senior houses
Limiting access to 'non-essential' areas in stores
    Promoting countless business practices.
Limiting foot traffic even in their big stores
Its back to looking shifty at Walmart after this but they have been beneficial to many.

    Local businesses step up

Some places as selling 'groceries' from their suppliers at cost or just enough to pay employees.
    Increased wages of essential employees
Feeding other essential employees at below costs or free.
    Giving displaced workers delivery/courier jobs.
Smaller grocery stores going completely contactless and cutting profits.

So for every person rushing to usher in a 2nd wave bigger than the first, there are those still trying to do their part.

Also if you need a mask, there's tons of clothing companies making them so you don't have dip into the medical supply or gamble on getting flimsy disposable masks.

And finally...it only took Trump how many days to use this crisis to bar immigrants? It's not like America and us citizens haven't been placed on every other countries travel advisory.
