Mythic Keystone Dungeons Season 4
Season 4 has a new affix—Awakened. While the Awakened affix is active, players will discover obelisks throughout the dungeon, which will pull players through the veil to the shadowy world of Ny’alotha. There, players will confront a powerful servant of N’Zoth which they must defeat or the servant will join forces with the final boss in the instance. Once the lieutenant has been taken down, the party will be returned to their regular reality in the location they’re currently standing in.
Reward Updates
Item levels of rewards from level 120 Normal, Heroic, and Mythic dungeons have been increased by 30 and can now be corrupted by N’Zoth. Baseline rewards are now item-level 400 from Normal, 415 from Heroic, and 430 from non-Keystone Mythic dungeons. During the first week of Season 4, rewards from end-of-run chests will be capped at item-level 445 for Mythic Keystone at +6 difficulty or PvP Rank 2, and the reward cache will contain a Season 3 reward. With the start of the second week of Season 4, the weekly cache will not be affected by the cap, and will reward Season 4 items at higher item levels.
PvP Season 4
Season 4 brings new player-versus-player content including the new Teeming Islands Brawl. This large-scale battle brings together two teams of 10 on an island overflowing with powerful creatures. This Brawl brings an additional challenge to the shores of PvP Island Expeditions by increasing the total amount of players from six to 20 on the biggest Islands (Havenswood and Jorundall).
Participants can earn two new mounts—the Vicious White Bonesteed (Horde) and Vicious White Warsaber (Alliance) and the highest-rated players will unlock the new Corrupted Gladiator’s Proto-Drake mount.
Reward Updates
Item level rewards in Random Battlegrounds have also been increased by 30. During the first week of Season 4, end-of-match rewards will be capped at item-level 445. This will require Challenger rank to earn. Beginning in week 2, Challenger rank rewards will be item-level 460.

During that time, the mail you can’t see is not subject to 30 days expiry. It will only begin counting down from 30 days once we’ve fixed it so that you can see it and interact with it in your inbox.
Wait a second, what will happen after week 30? Week 31 is 18th August, it would be very, very optimistic, but still doable date for pre-patch. Let's say:
- Alpha would launch February (imo more likely cause there is no 8.3.5, since Legion test servers are almost always busy)
- Beta May/June
- Pre-patch 18th August
- launch 22nd or 29th September.
That would place SL testing between BfA (5.5 months before pre-patch) and Legion (7 months if we're not counting Christmas break).
Here's blizzard deciding which loot you are allowed to get in the order they want. Did you already get a weapon from a mythic+?? Too bad. This week you get a weapon.

What? That’s a PvP thing and has been like this the whole xpac.

If you rely on the weekly cap item from pvp then your rating is so bad that it doesnt matter.

If I remember correctly dude once said he hasn't played game in years, but somehow still has opinion on every topic, from pet battles to mythic raiding ;D.

The theories go that pre-patch drops in September, with release in October/November. That'd leave them some room to spare for the stated latest release date.
I for one hope that they'll let the pre-patch go on for a bit longer if it's a Legion-style one.

Well, all theories so far are based on nothing, we don't even have Alpha launch date. Only thing that I'm more or less certain is that expac is scheduled for Fall 2020, between 22nd September and Christmas (or rather was scheduled when they introduced pre-purchase back on Blizzcon).
Personally I would love 27th October for expac release, it works on many levels.
Do World Quests also increase iLvl now? So right now WQ rewards are i385, and i415 for the WQ cache after completing 4/4.
So will those also increase 30 iLvl's now?
While I hope so, I have a feeling the increase (if there is one) won't be +30. I suspect the WQ's themselves will award 400 (possibly up to 410 MAX - which is in line with the "catch up" tokens from the assaults) and the emissaries will be 430.
