Title edit: I think "interesting" is the term than "better"
People like to joke South Korea is a million times better than North Korea for foreign tourism looking for an interesting time. When you read about the disturbing, disturbing reality though, South Korea is a modern dystopia where the wealthy and common people are at constant odds with each other. If you're rich I imagine you would have an alright time, but that can be said for many exotic places in the world like Dubai.
I'm not entirely sure if North Korea has changed its tourism policies, but Wikipedia still maintains it does receive 4000 - 6000 tourists from America yearly. Given that, at heart, Seoul is just a normal civilized city, and North Korea has the reputation of being a real-life version of Oceania from the novel 1984, what does SK have that would warrant a more interesting and memorable visit?
