Assault Dailies Reputation and Coalescing Visions Reward Increase, Rajani Warserpent

Assault Dailies Reputation and Coalescing Visions Reward Increase
With today's reset, Blizzard has substantially increased the rewards from N'Zoth assault dailies. This will make getting to exalted and earning Vessel of Horrific Visions much more bearable. Here are the new numbers:

    • Daily Assault Quests
    • Lesser Vision Daily

Method to Obtain the Rajani Warserpent Discovered
A mogu invasion is currently up in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms, and a rare spawn named Rei Lun spawns deep in the Silent Sanctuary in the North part of the zone. This rare has a small chance to drop the Pristine Cloud Serpent Scale needed to obtain the Rajani Warserpent. You can turn this item into the Rajani quartermaster for the mount without any reputation requirements!

Thank god for the rewards increase. Now I can actually keep doing them. A good change.

They probably saw so many people skipping the dailies because the time:reward ratio wasn't worth it.

Lol imagine the quests being so unrewarding they have to multiply the rewards by 5x.

I know I didn't touch them on any alts because i don't really care about the rep more than once and the CV rewards were pitiful (.5% of a vision? Really?)

It's still only 2.5% now but at least that's much more respectable. If you figure on like 4 from the major zone and 3 from the minor (i think? seems like the major has 4) that's 12,250 a week if the math is right.

    Vs 2450....

These are still basically “Quiditch” numbers. Utterly ridiculous.

Prior: 200 dailies for one vessel
Now: 40 dailies for one vessel

Whoever decided the numbers for this feature must have had a chat with J.K. Rowling.

The fact you now get 3 vessels a week (possibly 4 if you kill enough rares) is fine

Now I wanna do the dailies at least....except for the trophy

And it somehow still doesn't feel like it's enough.

I already have like 4 Cloud Serpents, including the Timewalking one. Don't need to do dailies for a white one.

I only do dailies if i'm doing it along with doing the assault, since it's a two for one deal. When the assault is done, so am I.

Exactly. My raiding days are long behind me and have been casual for a while. The most entertaining and engaging content that kept me coming back in recent memory were Legion's Mage Tower challenges and I've been getting the same sense of satisfaction from the Horrific Visions.

Wow something without a reputation requirement. BY THE GODS.

Should be extremely easy to keep up with legendary cloak upgrades and still have vessels left over to play horrific visions more aggressively

While it's good that they upped the rewards from those unrewarding as it was world quests, it still doesn't change the fact that the visions themselves do not need to be currency gated in the first place.
It'd be one thing if you could infinitely farm cloak upgrades, or if you could infinitely farm gear. If either of those two were a problem then yeah, I could totally understand the need to have a currency gate.

However as a statement of fact cloak upgrades are time gated. Even if I was a method level player (which I am definitely not) I couldn't get a rank 8 cloak this week no matter what I done, nor could I get more than 1 decent piece of loot. So.....why is there a currency gate in the first place? For farming momentos? That currency is only good to upgrade your vision only talent tree, for a cosmetic backpack, a mount, or a give a socket item that we literally cannot get since it's also gated behind an achievement? I don't understand their decision process sometimes. I really don't.

Good but still not enough to be worth doing imo. The most enjoyable content of 8.3 are the visions and you can only do them 1-2 times a week. That's absolutely ridiculous. Give us way more attempts, like I want 10-20 a week, just adjust the reward structure if you have to (even though cloak is capped anyway).

THEN reduce how long it takes to get alts caught up. Fresh 120s have to do the Nazjatar intro, then do a bunch of crappy Magni quests and the Wrathion part.

I read “method to obtain” and I was like why would the guild obtain that mount? Lol

To be honest the cloud serpent are one of WoW's more awesome looking and well animated mounts and I'll gladly take more of their recolors, especially in such a rare color as white(which originally was only available for one PvP season most people missed out on).
