I don’t understand why DH wings can’t be permanent. Even as small as they are, they look stupid just materializing out of nowhere. Or at least have a tmog or barber option to turn them on/off. That and a glyph to not fully change your exterior during Meta; similar to how Demo Locks got a glyph that did the same thing during WoD or Cata.

I vaguely recall reading somewhere in an interview they originally planned to make wings permanent, but it caused major clipping issues.

I still would have loved them to at least be a class "mount", though.

Yeah because one class getting the wings they already have as a mount would be so much in the ocean of wings from a toy.
