Go look in Vale portal room. Go look in Shattrath. Go look in Dalaran (both of them).

Go to BfA portal rooms. Level-sync with a level 1 character. All of the portals disappear.

The portals are going away when they are no longer relevant to the content your character is doing. The Cataclysm portals are a special case that, thankfully, meet whatever criteria Blizzard has decided makes them worthy of remaining.
The reason the portals disappear would be because they're tied to a quest a level 1 hasn't completed yet.

    Your post is nothing frankly

No, they weren't. They were simple convenience to get to places you'd go once in a blue moon, only after you reached max level.

Case in point: all the portals for the Cataclysm zones are still up.

The portals are going away when they are no longer relevant to the content your character is doing.
They'll still keep the portals that are vital for the leveling experience, which means the portal to Silithus will remain, since that is a place you have to regularly return, and is crucial for the acquisition of the Heart of Azeroth.

The Cataclysm portals are a special case that, thankfully, meet whatever criteria Blizzard has decided makes them worthy of remaining.
The Cataclysm portals meet the criteria I already told you: they're part of the leveling experience, which is why the portal to Silithus will remain.
I did a Necromancer thing. Check it out! All feedback welcome!
Update 08/17: I changed how the Bone spec's golem mechanic works, as well as some other minor changes.
I also did a Bard thing! Questions, comments and ideas, all welcome!
Update 09/02: Apparently the mods decided to merge my class concept thread with an existing one.

I actually had this exact thought yesterday. Sure, it's not a huge pain. But they could have added one for convenience, for sure. The portal route is a bit silly to go between Uldum and Silithus.

What they could also seriously add is some sort of marker for the camp. I've found myself flying around the Azerite wasteland aimlessly, trying to find it. It can be hard to spot.

There already is a flightmaster in place, they just need to activate it.

Ok, I'll get right on it.
Me, the totally legit and real Blizzard Developer you're talking to on this fan forum.
Anything else I can do while we're here?

I feel like this is Blizzard experimenting with the possibility of allowing flying in Shadowlands from the outset but using looming aerial threats to keep flyers low or grounded. I like it as well considering I haven't this kind of dread and need for awareness of surroundings since the Fel Reavers roaming about in Hellfire Peninsula.

I must say that the journey between Uldum and Chamber of Heart is quite tedious by all standards:

    - a slow long manual flight
    - jumping through 3 portals (and hearthstone)

Both are unnecessarily tedious or not an engaging way to spend your time.

They do, and then we nap them up with the Net-Gun, hehe.

Man, now you have me all nostalgic about the Fel Reavers..

Still to be considered a threat, whether you find or not. Fel Reaver wasn't a threat either if you avoided its path.

Oh yes! The gryphon riders were perfect. Mechagon was a slow reaction and the worms, or leeches, are doing what they do - leech.

Maybe if it had a loud, jumpscare type shriek when it attacks you, like when you're alt-tabbed flying and get too close to it? Remember at Blizzcon when that guy pulled the prank of playing the fel reaver sound on his boombox and half the convention hit the floor?
-- Remember, never look over the long term story and try to piece together what Blizzard planned, only take singular moments out of context and blow them way out of proportion. We can argue better that way. Every time I try to look at the story as Blizzard are presenting it I'm either called a shill or a fanfiction writer. - Powerogue 2019

As many others have said, use the Uldum port in Org/SW and fly, it takes what? 45 seconds to fly there from where you spawn in Uldum?

the worm doesnt harm you while you fly so its NOT a threat:
"A threat is a communicated intent to inflict harm or loss on someone"

so not matter what U FEEL no, the worms are NOT a threat.

It is a freaking sky leech. Its threat is meant to be minimal but it is there.

I recall seeing the first waves trambled by the Fel Reaver when TBC came out.
