Blood Elves were based on a STRONG request from a poll of Asian players where many remarked on the Horde side that they and their girlfriends wanted a non-creepy femme race to play (Source)
Albon was ahead of him. He should've lifted
No Albon should have known the line of that corner. If you're not 100% committed to defence you shouldn't be on the track. That corner was a racing incident at worst.
Senna would not have lifted and if not lifting is good enough for him when he raced then it is good enough for 2020 racing.

Seriously though, where the hell was everybody that wasn't in a Mercedes?! It took three safety cars plus a time penalty for the rest of the field to be anywhere near them.
Mercedes wil win WDC and WCC. Red bull has the usual slow start of the season and despite Leclerc finishing P2 the Ferrari powered cars are all near Williams. Has nothing to do with the illegal engine of last year??????
Fairly exciting race! So many retirements!
Strong performance by Bottas. I want to be optimistic for him to bring the fight to Lewis this year, and I hope that he can, but the past few seasons... yeah.
Gutted for Ricciardo and Albon. Irritated with Hamilton and Vettel. Surprised by Leclerc. Super stoked for Norris. Podium, baby!

Ferrari were cheating last year, their advantage disappeared when they stopped cheating. Didn't see if there were more changes this year that screwed them further, but obviously not looking good. It's worse than in the Red Bull years right now, at least in 2010 and 2012 we had a championship battle. I'd at least like to see Bottas win a championship, doesn't seem likely but I'm fed up of seeing a 2 car championship with Hamilton taking the crown every year.
I've got friends who all used to watch the F1 and none of them watch anymore, part of that is due to it being behind a paywall but the other part is they already know Lewis is going to win, so why bother. Either way great job by Bottas this past weekend, but it seemed Hamilton had more pace and just had poor luck, we will see how that pans out next weekend with the 2nd race.

So Alonso seems to have signed a 2 year contract with Renault, he must be banking on them getting that 2022 reg correct lol.

Yeah lol.
Here's the official announcement.
Now the big question is : who will leave Renault first? Nando or Abit of bull?
He's taking a gamble on 2022, to say it's a long shot is an understatement but he has nothing to lose. Have to wonder if Alonso will still have the speed to compete with the young kids by then, 2 years out of F1 and will be 39 returning. No matter how good the drivers, the speed always slips away a little in these years, as we saw with Schumacher and as we can see with Raikkonen.
