That said, I would not at all mind a dragon focused expansion. If the aspects are going to be important again, we need it. And the Sylverian Dreamer is there for a reason.
This realy, people who played during cataclysm have a sour taste on the dragonflights.. they are very uncool atm and would need some cool things to make it interrsting.

I cant think of anything interesting besides what was mentioned in an other thread.. that spoke about 3 or 4 differnt islands aka pokemon movie 2 where zapdos, moltress all had their own island.

The problem is.. what will they do there? They dont even hang out there in wow.

The way it is currently with the timegating is: you have to do a bit on EVERY char, and the light at the end of the tunnel isn't really known.

With the cape stuff, i'm actually okay with the weekly cap on rank, i wish you could do the visions as much as you want (like m+ for example). Its content that i am REALLY enjoying, but the fact that you're limited to 3-5 runs per week makes it hard to try different tactics and mess around in there. (I know there's balancing issues around corrupted mementos but i'm sure it could be worked around).

On a really OT: I think it's about time Blizzard understands that people like to play alts.
To me by the time I actually went to my alts, the entire Suramar / Warcampaign was available (but I didn't do them beyond what I desperately needed to get into the zones...in BfA I didn't even establish the "Into the heart of Tiragarde" (sp) FP in the middle of the zones (and the outposts from the mission table were accountwide)

But I get it...obviously ppl also complain about "being forced" to grind HoA and essences on every alt - I am just the guy with 14 lv 120 who doesn't do it.

So....definitely an altoholic here, just different.

As usual....I am sure Blizzard knows to the last player who likes alts and how many. They just don't treat them as different ppl would prefer. After all we have ppl like me, who often just park an alt and others who want to have every class they get to lv 120 be able to do mythic+ and raid. Obviously these ppl will hate the alt system as it is the most

With this, I shall stop derailing the thread

This world don't give us nothing. It be our lot to suffer... and our duty to fight back.

i think one of the SW:TOR developers once said that if you give gamers a hat that can fulfill all their wishes they would still complain about the color of the hat

Proof that most gamers don't think..... (not saying you), just wish for a different hat color

When blizzard is forced to world build it actually tends to work out fairly well actually. For instance all the stuff about the races of Pandaria, or even the Kul Tiran and Zandalari leveling experience.

A dragon themed expansion seems boring with what we have NOW. But forcing them to flesh it out would, going by history, work well.

Blizzard is at its worst when trying to retread old nostalgic. Like how Cata was just a giant "Remember WC2?" without trying to add anything. A dragon expansion with a focus on adding to the sparse dragon lore would work.

I think it could be done, but the writing has to really improve before it can be pulled off. Resurrected Galakrond could be a cool main villain as well, if they managed to give him a better personality than say Deathwing, and figure out how we fight such a big dragon that's also not handled like Deathwing.

Well, I remember when people were absolutely sure the next expansion after BfA would be Dragon Isles... oops, that went out of the window.

Wow needs to speed up its quick painful death for the lore and do something entirely different. This could work. No more fucking up Nazjatar, nyalotha, Shadowlands etc.

Yeah, exactly as you said it. Blizzard really does it best, at least world building wise, when they've got a blank slate to work-on. They also said the future of wow lies in its cosmology- part of which is made up of the various aspects. That way they could segway into a more other-worldly cosmic-plotted planet-based expac right after.

Now, kinda OT, but I wish Blizzards ability to build worlds extended to class-design. I am hoping that maybe the current bare-bone state of classes will propel them to be somewhat more innovative with the way classes are built on in the future.

the rest? well.. all know what happend.

But yea, the swtor guy is right 100%

they change idea when its here, and those are either exception or people denying to be edgy, dragons are iconic in fantasy and very popular among the general public

we had one entire expansion about undeads and the lich king, and demons, the legion and green fire, and people endure, they can also endure some dragons fine

i mean, its not that necessary, but, it can be done easily, there is some unsolved plots, or new ones who could come up with that kind of expansion

Odyn for instance could show up. He split over the rest of the keepers because of the dragons after all.

Yeah I was just giving an example Odyn is an interesting side-villain and fits the Dragon theme. He'd also fit Yrel.
