Manziel did most definitely not fade into obscurity after his first year. I still see articles about him every couple months. There was one a few weeks ago where he said he lost the locker room because of his antics away from the game (which I don't really believe because it's been shown and backed up you can be a huge prick and last a while as long as you perform well.)

He had one season in the league and was gone with no sight of return. I'd call that obscurity.

    Certainly moreso than Rosen.

Manuel had more of a career than the two of them combined.

Drunkenmiller is probably the best one, he played in 6 games and only started 1. That is really impressive as a 1st round pick. Even Paxton Lynch managed to start 4.

    The Raiders have a defence?

Christmas truly is a time of miracles.

EJ got 13 starts (less than Rosen) before being called a bust.

Cade McNown made 15 starts in two years then gone forever, Marinovich had 8 starts in two seasons then gone.

Some guys like Leinart are DOA and forgotten men even if they stick around on a roster for a few years.

Good thing for Druckenmiller and Lynch, or it'd be all UCLA/USC guys.

Until they bench Tua for Fitzmagic and they go back to being the Raiders defense.

Tua benched yet again. Can't wait for an offseason of talk about "Did the Dolphins start Tua too soon?"

Its neat hearing Joe Davis call an NFL game.

Funny how this game has suddenly turned into a shootout. Only took 3.5 quarters before the offenses started scoring.

What a crazy 4th quarter. That Fitzmagic throw while his head was being ripped off....

I picked the right time to start watching, just before the 16-16 tying field goal. All that madness happened in the final four minutes.

So apparently that loss officially eliminated the Raiders. So, again, December Gruden.

And it's gonna happen again next year, and the year after that, and for another like 5 years.

All but 1 of Cleveland's receivers are out due to covid procedure, also 2 defensive players. Their last game's against the steelers so if they drop the next 2 they probably don't make it.

The 2 bright sides are 1) they're facing the jets and 2) they still have one of the best rb tandems in the league. Be interesting to see how they progress relying on the run, which they've sort of gotten away from back half of the season.

I find it funny they moved around games and took away some team's bye weeks earlier in the year for 1-2 players. Now they are making teams play without entire position groups or coaches on one side of the ball. The NFL sure has handled it well...

This is probably expected, but the injury report for the Broncos/Chargers game is interesting. 36 players with 25 of them being on IR combined between the 2. Throw the 49ers in there and you can make fill an entire roster.

The Steelers are going to end up finishing 11-5 with the way they have been playing.

Well turns out there won't be a 1-15 team that misses the #1 pick.

Because the Jets are going 2-14.

Honestly it'd be the most Jetsey thing to win these 2 games then decide "you know what let's keep Adam Gase."

They play the Patriots next week, they could very well end up 3-13.

Nah I feel like there's no way Belichick's pride will let him lose to the Jets.
