Manning and Woodson should be absolute locks, after that it gets debatable.

Personally I think Clay Matthews should be given the nod out of the remaining but to me the HoF is dead until they correct their error of snubbing Flores. They've a chance to get it right again this year.

Whitworth is off IR and ready to start for the Rams at LT, arguably a more important return for their offense than Goff.

The Watson drama is getting spicy. Apparently he was to be involved with the GM and HC search (which I disagree with any player being involved with that sorta stuff, but thats another conversation), Texans don't even interview the guy Watson wants, and then shocked pikachu face when hes mad about it.

I mean as a Giants fan I did. Yes, I know we suck. But we’ve been bad for a few years now, and this whole “run” had a “playing with house money” vibe.

I think it has also created far too much optimism for next year - we still suck, and need Jones to be more for that to change - but it was a fun year.

As a Philly resident there's A LOT of talk going on about the WFT game.
Honestly, most people do not care that they threw the game. It's not like it was going to change anything for them other than draft priority.

In fact Brandon Graham said on 94.1 that they were told that Nate Sudfeld would be put in the game during game day planning - before the game even started. He said that the only surprise was that it was so late in the game, and that they thought he was going to see play after the first half.

As far as money, they don't make as much as you think from prime time tv. They make it from merchandise, product endorsements, etc. They owe no one anything. Eagles fans are just happy the injury-ridden season is over.

I don't think anyone in "the land of assholes" (philly) gives a crap that you were not entertained. The WFT should have played better as well. It's not like they were playing an amazing game... pick on them for a bit.
50% of NFL revenue comes from TV. They care a lot. But they got good ratings anyway, the game drew a lot of interest.

He has a reasonable cap hit in 2021 of only $10.5m

Reasonable hit but you have to imagine the Texans will want more than a king's ransom for Watson. I think the bidding starts at two firsts. You don't just hand away a franchise QB.

Lol if they trade for two firsts, they will have effectively traded Deshaun for Laremy Tunsil.

Hopefully not to the 9ers either.

Eh as much heartbreak as the Kaepernick-era 9ers gave me, I'd be fine with him going there.

Now to the Patriots on the other hand....

Mike Nolan is, to the surprise of nobody, fired in Dallas.

Now the only question is which team will be dumb enough to pick him up. My money is on the Jets. He would be an excellent replacement for Gregg Williams.

This would be the upset of the decade if WFT pulled it off.

We're pretty early in the decade so why not?

I feel like you both missed the Bears over Saints prediction as well, which is arguably a bigger upset.

This is about where all my picks are for the weekend. I’m still waffling on the Bears game, but I might wait and live bet it. The Saints should crush them, but I have this weird suspicion it’s going to be close.

I’ve got money on the Bills, but I’m fully expecting the Colts to give them a game. An upset wouldn’t shock me.

Bills special teams hate field position, they're gonna need to stop making things so difficult on their offense.

Well with that failed 4th down conversion, the Bills once again starting within the 10.

What a dipshit, that 4th down yelling should never work.

That INT is coming back, clearly incomplete on review.
