Unfortunately, if Blizzard’s definition of “Alt-Friendly” is what we’ve seen in BfA, what you’re asking this thread is going to be the norm.
For me, it’s my Ret Paladin. Played Prot since TBC up to Legion, swapped to Ret for all of Legion/BfA and I’m not interested in tanking again.

Up to and not including BfA's class design, Marksman Hunter.
From BfA and forward, Havoc Demon Hunter.
Until BfA Marksman Hunter was the spec I have enjoyed the most throughout the game from Vanilla. Now it is something else entirely so I had to change to another type of a hunter. Which is also awesome fun.https://www.youtube.com/@DoffenGG

Holy paladin. We have damage that can happen as we heal, can wear a shield, have bubble hearth, and have resisted nerfs for all of wows history.

In terms of the actual game, I refuse to answer. Blizzard can adjust your class identity, remember how warlock suddenly cannot turn into demon?
