I think I would rather hear Commander Shepards opinion on all these cute games coming out rather than just linking youtube reviews.

ACNH is wonderful, pretty much the perfect game to escape from all the misery in the world atm.

It had to do with the reddit communities for both games. I forget which sub came over to the others first, but it was both groups of fans super excited and then they started the drawings. Overall wholesome for two very different gaming communities.
