Thumbs down BFA did nothing for the story to bridge into Shadowlands

There were far more deaths caused by the Legion invasion than the ones who died in the Blood War.
Sylvanas could've easily just shocked everyone still by going to ICC as Warchief still, kick the LK's ass and break the seal into the Shadowlands and we wouldn't have any gaps. In fact, you could say the wound in Azeroth caused so much death upon impact that it made the Maw swell. BOOM bfa can be made uncanon. all characters who died are alive.
"You know you that bitch when you cause all this conversation."

There's Vol'jin's death storyline, among other things in BFA that can crossover. This post sounds more like you dislike BFA and trying to think of any reason (even if made up) to justify why it should never had happened.

Tbh I prefer that approach every now and then over everything constantly leading directly into what follows.

That said, screw faction war, let it rot under Nordrassil as it should have.

every expansion could have been removed...

We could remove tbc, and have us defeat naxramas which starts wotlk as the lich king awakes upon kelthuzad's death.
we could remove wotlk, by having kiljadens death spark a deal with the black dragonflight that awakes deathwing.
we could remove cata by having the defeat of the lich king warm the lands, removing the mists from pandaria
we could remove mop by having the death of deathwing lead to wrathion making a plan with garrosh to go to draenor and make an army
we could remove wod by... removing wod
we could remove legion by having the conflict in ashran start up the faction war again, and while we were gone the planet began to bleed from the maelstrum.

you can literally do this with every expansion, as each expansion is mostly disconnected from the last, as really it has to be.
imagine watching your favorite show, and a 2 parter comes up but they go "Oh yeah part 2? next season, see yall in 6 months" people would shit the bed, so each expansion sorta needs to wrap everything up, and have minor connections to the next.

Why would Sylvanas want to do that? Her goal was to keep the war going as long as possible. She even laments how the war ended prematurely after she got mad at Saurfang. As soon as the war ended, she stopped getting souls. So no, if she started Shadowlands during BfA, she would just be ruining her own evil plan. She would be forcing Alliance and Horde to band together against the Jailer while at the same time revealing to everyone that she is serving the true enemy of all life, thus losing any support she had in the Horde. She would literally gain nothing from breaching the veil while the Fourth War was ongoing.

Also, lmao at Legion causing more destruction than BfA. Battle of Lordaeron, Battle of Dazar'alor, and Burning of Teldrassil >>>>> Battle of Broken Shore, as far as casualties are concerned. She and the Jailer would not be strong at all without the massive soul boost they got from Fourth War, thus they would get stomped immediately.

How could I ever have loved someone so weak? Let us hope Arator did not inherit your cowardice.

Faction war is great the way they portrayed it in Classic. Its present the whole time, but not really the main focus, even though there isn't really any main focus in Vanilla which made it kinda great on it's own imo.

On topic: yes, BFA was shit, but maybe they can show us more in the Novel then

After having to endure two nonsensical, sometimes outright silly books such as War Crimes and Before the Storm, I very much doubt I can place a lot of hope in the upcoming novel. And even if said novel manages to make some sense, it's quite safe to bet that it will be retconned halfway into SL anyway.
