    Unpruning... It just hit me

This morning while discussing this topic it hit me.

Once they take away abilities from talents and make them baseline, AZERITE ARMOR traits will replace them in the talent tree.

I dunno. To me, that sounds like a win-win. The few Azerite and essence traits that didn't rip fresh ass get migrated in as talents, characters start feeling like specialists who built off a strong grasp of the fundamentals rather than hyperfixated idiot savants who sperg out over the first sign of doing something outside their hyperfixated specialty, and maybe, if we're lucky and skip rails into another universe again, the devs will take the opportunity to pick up some humility at the grocery store and realize trying to design the game like it's a fucking MOBA is an exercise in slope-browed futility.
Be seeing you guys on Bloodsail Buccaneers NA!

I mean aint that a good thing?
I really like a lot of the azerite traits.
"Demonic commander gives you full soulshards"
"UA reduces the cooldown of darkglare"
"Infernal makes your X next chaos bolts do extra damage."
    i really like azerite traits.

not all traits are bad. and if blizz is actually going to listen to feedback this time, then giving feedback when you think something is boring or bad for the game is an important thing to do.

Wait, what? They are removing talents?

For rogue, garrote with +2 extra combo points and vendetta with bonus poison dot on target and extra energy regen... Don't take it from me =(

Hehehe... you think Blizzard is going to listen to feedback? Strange, we don't look like China's mobile market...

I would love it if they kept (and buffed) the Power of the Moon trait for boomkins. Moonfire spam spec should be a thing. I remember running mythic+ at the beggining of the expansion with 3 PotM. You just had to hit 1 button, it actually felt good

Given the changes they've made your hyperbole is not based in reality.

well they only listen to feedback they want to listen to.. the amount of feedback that was ignored and deleted is much larger. Oh of course there will also be people that liked the changes as well

I just don't want Blaster Master anymore. Please don't make it a talent.

Well most of the class specific traits are...you know good, so ultimately I wouldn't see how this would be a bad thing...hell a lot of the traits are more interesting then the talents we have... :P

But I doubt that's how its going to happen, but will see

Rofl yeah right. You aren't getting the good ones man. You're getting crap ones like wildfire bombs drop extra bombs for survival, and judgment does x more damage if the target is below your health %, that blood dk one that does pathetic spikes upon D&D etc.

I hope people are ready for ability pruning during this unpruning process too.

Oh, what, you thought it was just gonna be unpruning? They literally said they want to move away from specializations being so distinct and turning it into one big class again. What's this actually mean? It means that all the unique rotational abilities a lot of the specs have will be deleted in favor of a shared rotation for the entire class in a lot of cases.

Which is of course because Blizzard doesn't want to listen to their genius playerbase, not because the feedback is largely crap.

That is looking at what they said in the worst way possible. They also said there would not be sweeping class changes.

no, i don't think they will listen. but they at least seem to be giving the illusion that they are so now is really our last chance to save this game. i wouldn't let pettiness stop you from providing meaningful feedback in case they actually are listening this time. as the saying goes in card games, the game isn't over until you have lost. you shouldn't give up just because things are bleak.

A lot of traits are incredibly boring or just stat boosts, so I sincerely hope this isn't the case.

They also said that it would mean things like giving those abilities on class rather than spec level. So the rotation will stay the same, you'll just have some abilities from other specs that you probably won't use much.
