Rune of Hysteria seems to be really good for two-handed frost from my testing, it also creates the largest BoS window out of any other option.

what made frost good (prior to WOD)was the sustains and procs that enabled sustains like a fury warrior has now. many are now claiming frost is A-tier pvp in SL. i have my doubts, the ret pal union always claiming how bad they are, a class that prior to WOD i could go toe to toe with, and flip a coin on the winner has been gone since WOD prepatch. i dare not duel, and dread facing in WPVP, BGs in 1vs1, even 1vs2-3.

if you want to experience what a FDK was like pre WOD, fury warrior is the class it has no resource cost for it's self heals and based on haste CD is sooner. in SL blizz i hear that arms is getting something like that too now, a FDK death strike has to share resources with other abilities. even in BGs, i face a fury with 25% HP. the fight ends with FDK dead, fury heading to 80% plus HP due to no cost free sustains.

i gave up on FDK 2 years ago, and only recently leveled a DK from 110 to 120 as BDK

2h will not save a FDK or imo make it better, in WOD FDK still had 2H, the prune that robbed the procs to trigger death strike, siphon life, and death coil was robbed. blizzard also robbed 2H further into WOD, forcing FDKs to DW, even though 2H was still available, setting up the 2H prune for legion.

You know what I've been messing around with glacial advance on the PTR in two handed and I'm just wondering why they don't just make it a replacement talent that replaces Frost strike because you're now applying razor ice with an ability so for two-handed a completely gets rid of that issue on longer fights.

I'm really happy we have 2h frost back and your proposed problem is a real thing. I think, it's part of the reason why we're back to weapon tokens for raids now. But M+ likely will be a mess for Frost/Fury and specs that are back on using everything.

Way better actually, since 2H gearing is so much easier than DW gearing, the retards at Blizzard reverted the great Legion artifact change that made DW equal to 2H as a single slot.

I mean, if you're lucky and get weapons easily, good for you.

I spent 3 months doing M+15, not a single 2H weapon for unholy (literally, rings/belt/pants/boots on repeat with a single trinket drop for 3 months), and it took 2 months to see the 470 weapon off N'zoth. Meanwhile sitting on 455 2H while rest of the gear was 475.

I'm never playing a DW class no matter how much I like Demonhunter because of this garbage, I can't imagine grinding for TWO weapons with bad luck and how rare they've made weapons.

The change to Death's Due is certainly interesting for 2h frosty bois. Locked into a specific covenant but cleaving Obliterate looks hella sexy.

So we have Venthyr generating tons of resources for DW/Breath of Sindragosa and Night Fae being an AoE option for Obliteration focused 2h Frost.

edit: But looks like it basically locks out Kyrian and Necrolords as options unless they're numerically buffed to the moon.

Surely you can. The unholy and blood artifacts are also transmogrifiable now.
