There's a third spec slot yearning to be filled with a caster archetype that focuses on metamorphosis. Prior to Legion Demon Hunters were always ranged casters in their demon form, including the two DH raid bosses you had to fight in TBC. Right now metamorphosis is a really basic cooldown for both DH specs, certainly not an in-depth, class-defining mechanic like it was when Warlocks had it. Giving Demon Hunters something similar to the old Demonology spec would tie right into their existing lore and class identity while opening up a completely different playstyle.

The adding back of abilities that they removed is stupid. Some classes are going to have an obnoxious number of abilities while others have very few. Warlock will have more utility abilities than Demon Hunter has abilities total.

    Soulstone
    Create Healthstone
    Soulwell
    Summoning Portal
    Unending Breath
    Eye of Kilrogg
    Demonic Circle Place
    Demonic Circle Teleport
    Demonic Gateway
    Burning Rush
    Mortal Coil
    Fear
    Banish
    Enslave Demon
    Shadowfury
    Curse of Weakness
    Curse of Tongues
    Curse of Recklessness
    Summon Demon
    Spell Lock
    Consume Magic

Would that matter to healer? Priests shoot light at undead without any care about them. Also, fel only kills if used offensively. It didn't kill orcs or felblood elves.

You can always kills someone, raise him and heal. Other thing a death knight could do is blood transfusion, akin to ones used by San'layn.

Or as I said, blood based healing.
healthstones lore wise are not something anyone other then warocks use, simply because while it does heal it also corrupts, so only when desperatly needed should they be used.
Just expand on the healing that DH already does with soul fragments. You could have a "soulstealer" spec that can shatter soul fragments from living targets and then direct them towards allies. Like a melee version of a disc priest with a different theme/power source.

yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah we are done discussing here.
It happens in uncontrolled processes. An adept fel user can infuse a being with fel without causing such problems. You have entire man'ari race as an evidence.

Exactly. There are numerous options to explain that. Contrary to opinions of Alliance players, not only Holy Light can heal.
