PolitiFact has their stuff up already, big surprise, most of what Trump said is already listed on their site and is False or Pants on Fire.

Yes, that includes windmills causing cancer. Nice shot Biden.

Also includes the $100 trillion you guys mentioned. Apparenlty that's the Green New Deal, which Biden has already publicly said he does not support, and that number is still false. And that putting children in dog cages until they died was Obama, that's false too.

Also there was something about pardons?

Obama issued 212 pardons and 1,715 commutations, for a total of 1,927 acts of clemency, according to federal Department of Justice data. Trump has taken 38 clemency actions during his nearly four years in office, according to data through Sept. 8.
Biden apparently wandered into the wrong lane of the Truth Highway but not as far or as fast as drunk driver Trump, whose ass could create a five-car pileup before he even felt it.

Hey, maybe a couple of those undecides dislike China so much that they're willing to blame the entirety of the country's problems on them, like Trump seems happy to do.

The problem with that argument from Trump is that he's been the president for the last 4 years. Everything he said Biden didn't fix as VP applies more so to himself as the president.

The argument he was making works when you are the challenger, not the incumbent.

Yeah, I don't think so. I watched some republican reactions to the first debate and he did nothing that would have swayed any of those people back, considering he did all the same things with minimal interruptions this time.

I think him digging in and clearing up some of the questions especially about his taxes. I don't believe a word out of his mouth but he set himself up for those to believe his excuses about his taxes and finances and motivated them to go more after Biden in the next weeks.

Mark my words this will at least tighten up the race.

Ask them about this debate and see what they honestly say.

Considering the IRS has come out multiple times since 2015/16 claiming the audit has no bearing on preventing Trump from making them public, he's just a liar. I mean, when is the infrastructure bill happening, where is this mythical health care plan the GOP has been working on for over 10 years now, and how come he still hasn't shown us Obama's real birth certificate they he bragged about having in the top drawer of his desk in his office at Trump Tower?

Considering they were concerned with his lies, bragging about himself, and attacking Biden over debunked stuff, nothing will change. Seriously, Just because he didn't shit himself doesn't mean he was good.

Err yeah except he's been the president for the last 4 years.

The stupids who make up his base will be able to ignore that but just about no one else will.

That tactic only works if you are the outsider challenging the incumbent, but right now he is the incumbent.

His base don't question him. If they did, they wouldn't be his base. They'll be fired up until they're handed a loss.

Trump can shit on his wife’s face and his base will still vote for him. They’re not really the bar that anyone is aiming for here. He did almost nothing to convince anyone not his base to vote for him. Because anything he tried, he got clap back on. I’ve stopped looking at what Uber right wing Twitteratis or Fox or his base will say, because they’re just not relevant. There will always be a 40% that votes for him. It’s the other 60% plus new voters or disaffected voters that are the key. Turnout is the key. Turnout equals Democratic victory. Simple as that. In that regard, Biden killed it. As a debate, Biden killed it. The election is still a toss up. The debate will not really push that needle much.

If that were true, he wouldn't have signed an anti-abortion statement with Saudi Arabia and other backwards countries today.

I agree that Democrats still need to turn out the numbers. Based on early voting reports, they probably are.

Yeah, that's because pretty much any criticism he could level at a political opponent is almost guaranteed to be something that he's guilty of...to a much greater extent. My favorite example was him accusing Biden of being corrupt. He may be (most politicians probably are to some extent), but it's just laughable coming from the head of quite possibly the single most corrupt administration in the nation's history.

The last debate was considered an overall shitshow yet netted Biden some points. Even were I to entertain the possibility that Trump had an equal or slightly better performance than Biden, I don't see any evidence that this will sway points towards Trump.

The only thing that i consider a major Gaffe for Biden was his answer to transition out of fossil fuels. It's like, dude, do it after you're elected.

Agree, but he was clear on context. 2035 and then 2050. And really, if the world at large hasn’t started phasing out of fossil fuels by then, we’re done fucked. So it’s a contentious point. Biden was clear throughout saying, the key is the jobs. We will go renewable and clean as a planet and not lose jobs.
