My take on the debate....Trump did well, in fact it was his best debate performance ever. Who won the debate will depend on who you ask. I was really impressed with the great job the moderator did. Chris Wallace when asked about it, said he was jealous. lol!

He has seemingly moved left with some of his rhetoric. Healthcare, criminal justice, and minimum wage reforms are pretty huge. Time will tell if it's more than just talk, but it's at least a good sign that he can be seen to support those things.

He moved quite a bit left. A lot further left than I expected, and a lot of his movements left were things he initiated.

I am very comfortable with him being President.

He is definitely NOT "sleepy Joe".

He is more than tough enough. He actually got angry a few times, and kept it under control after expressing it. This is one of the things I was looking for.

And it seems like he has lined up his priorities: Black Lives Matter, Healthcare, Transitioning from fossil fuels towards renewable energy.

He apologized for his vote on the crime bill. WOW. He explained it (the bill passed with all 100 Senators voting for it), and then said it was still wrong.

DOUBLE WOW.

His closing remarks were awesome, and made me completely forget whatever Trump's closing remarks were.

How far left he'll actually achieve depends upon a LOT of things, most of which are outside his control. If democrats don't take over the Senate there won't be anything left happening at all.

He reminded me that there is still decency and goodness in the US. And he gave hope that the US might actually recover from the swamp that Trump has led us into.

Yeah, had a lot of people in trade chat in WoW saying that Trump won, and that everything with Hunter Biden is True. Then he linked me a video from Fox News and that ratfucker Ratcliffe saying it was true. Even though everyone else is saying no it isn't.

Ok so Biden didn't knock it out of the park, but he did ok. Trump wins most improved for sure, but Biden got more actual points out this time too.

I think this was pretty even. Biden did not give Fox any crazy soundbite they can play on a loop for the next two weeks, and that is really where the bar was. Trump imo made the mistake of derailing the debate trying to force in his widely ignored October surprise. And he was speechless when Biden turned the tables on him and said that the reason he didn't get anything done was a Republican congress. Critical hit right there.

So unless I missed something, this is good. I don't think there will be significant movement in the polls because of this, which again is obviously good.

he never overpaid, he got credits which he was allowed to carry forward. the question is how legal were those credits. You know like writting off his home and property as a charitable donation just becuase he did not develop it further.

The Democrats should have kept Biden in his basement. Joe was called out for his racist crime bill, his corrupt family, the cages built under his watch, and his complete ineptitude during his eight years as VP. This was painful to watch. Among debate watchers according to CNN, Bidens favorability went up after the debate, having been 55% favorable before the debate and 56% favorable after the debate. Trumps ratings changed, too.

He went from a 42% favorable rating to a 41% favorable rating.

Even as small a drop as that is, with how badly Trump is doing right now he can't afford any drop at all.
