I used to believe something similar to this. I also used to believe in the idea that "it's not polite to talk religion and politics at the dinner table/with company." Frankly, I don't any more. I believe American culture for too long has let these views fester under the surface and rot. The lack of dialogue has pushed us further and further away from each other, until we elected a black President and suddenly and abruptly our vast divide was exposed rather in a rather ugly swing towards fascism and nationalism.
I have relatives all over the world. They all talk religion and politics regularly and often, and are much more informed and reasoned than anyone I've met in America. My French uncle loudly and vociferously talks global politics at every meal, and I think France is probably better off for it.
We can't let willful ignorance and conscientious stupidity go, and just shrug at it. That's my sincere belief.
It can’t, because you either self immolate or you are hypocrite.
Why? He has been a Vermont senator for 30 years...Nobody would've dare guess the amount of support Bernie got this year only a decade ago.
It’s not, because they are drowned out by people like you. Last time I remember, you are not demanding Biden step down on social democratic issues and “burn the world down”, is the antithesis of socialist democracy.Everywhere else I look on social media or even out in the real world the social-democratic spirit is growing and burning brighter.
No, we know exactly... there is a history and current event.Don't get me wrong. I don't necessarily disagree with your views, but I feel as if people are putting a bit too much faith into the kind of help politicians like Biden will be to them.
Same reason you are here pushing alt right talking points, under the guise of democratic socialism. What happened to Anarchist or your opposition to “monopoly on violence”?Why do you make a comment like this? What is the purpose?
Or is it just a frustrated lash out in anger, like many of my own posts?
It’s kinda like someone posting GOP taking down ACA, in support of universal coverage. Then use that as evidence of being progressive, not showing that ACA was demonized the same way you are doing to Biden, which costs millions their healthcare. That’s a fucked up and back handed way to support universal coverage.

What evidence? If seeing a billionaire’s smile on TV every day, does not give you all the evidence you need, nothing will. What’s next? Are you going to ask the sun not to rise? Birds not to sing? Flowers not to bloom? The smile on a billionaire’s face, can feed a starving family for a life time... the more starving, the more true.
Wash your faces and smile you ungrateful...
See, now isn’t this better:

Please link the exact location and date her assault happened. With no holes in her story this should be easy. I also think it is funny how people bring up the question as to why now, but took Ford's answer as to why now easily. I guess it all depends on who you are backing. I await your links showing me exactly when her assault happened...just general date and location--no holes in this story should make it real easy.
Meanwhile... 54% of Republicans actually support sexual assault:
https://www.npr.org/about-npr/651750...rett-kavanaugh
It's not that they didn't actually believe Ford... they did. It's that they didn't care.
Evidence like a phone call by the victim's mom to larry king years ago vs an undetermined location and time. But you will give the latter the benefit of the doubt. You do not have to reply, your blind loyalty is on display here. It is the height of hypocrisy that all these democratic politicians said that Ford absolutely has to be heard and investigated but will not even mention Reade. You can pretend it is not, as that is your talking points. But you can't seem to understand how it is hypocrisy, so not even going to bother with someone who ignores obviousness.

So no links? And can you point to a current democrat who is caring about Tara Reade's assault? I would really love say the head of the DNC, maybe one of these women who wants to be BIden's VP...maybe even Biden himself? I am sure since they were all over Kavanaugh , they must have something to say now. Oh and thanks for a year and a half old poll. I guess only democratic politicians can change their stance on subjects. Got anything recent? Maybe a poll that doesn't show 54% of a poll that is only 27% republican?

Please please please don't act surprised at this. Yes we get it, from a factual standpoint the ad is mostly false. The parts that are true make Biden out to be MUCH better than Trump. Were you around 4 years ago?
BUT HER EMAILS!!!
BENGHAZI!!!
Both narratives were 100% completely false. They were the narratives that put Trump in the White House.
Look carefully at the two narratives that I quotes above: number of words = 4, number of words per narrative = 2. 4 years later everyone knows what both memes are about.
From a political standpoint, whatever the facts are, CREEPY JOE absolutely positively WILL BE one of the memes that republicans hammer for the rest of the election season. The debates over whether Trump is more creepy than Biden just reinforce the point that YES, JOE REALLY IS CREEPY AND THE CREEPY JOE MEME IS ACCURATE. The "Trump is worse" part will be in very very very teeny tiny small print.
It sucks that this is the way that politics is run in the US. But this is reality.
Biden... well the democratic party overall... needs to come up with their campaign strategies and main themes. 2 themes, maximum of 6 words total for the 2 themes. If they don't, Trump will surge in late October / early November - again - and win regardless of what the polls say from now until mid October.
Right now Trump is absolutely demolishing Biden in the meme contest:
Trump campaign: 1 meme - Creepy Joe. 2 meme - Dementia Joe.
Biden campaign: no memes at this time
You can't beat something with nothing. Trump 2, Biden 0.
AOC came out and said "This deserves a fair hearing and treatment; but I doubt she counts given her friendliness to Bernard Sanders. No Establishment brand safe democrat on the other hand has and most of said "We believe Joe Biden!" in this, as Stacy Abrams of powerful thirst energy has said.
On MMO-C we learn that Anti-Fascism is locking arms with corporations, the State Department and agreeing with the CIA, But opposing the CIA and corporate America, and thinking Jews have a right to buy land and can expect tenants to pay rent THAT is ultra-Fash Nazism. Bellingcat is an MI6/CIA cut out. Clyburn Truther.
