I really hope that this is the start of the global backlash of fascists and right wing policies worldwide!!!

So the stupid Hunter Biden story? Why was a White House lawyer involved in trying to shop around a political hit job?

This is the SECOND time a state has had to create pretty much literal death panels resulting from an uncontrolled spread of a pandemic from a government that has raised the white flag of defeat after not even putting up a fight.Hospitals in Utah will soon be forced begin prioritizing younger COVID-19 patients over older ones amid surging rate of hospitalizations from the virus in the state, doctors warned Utah's governor on Thursday.
The Salt Lake Tribune reported that hospital administrators in the state asked Gov. Gary Herbert (R) to approve a plan that would take drastic steps to reduce intensive care unit (ICU) admissions in the event of hospital ICUs being overwhelmed, which they said was a serious possibility in the days ahead.
If ICUs are nearing capacity, patients who are not seen to be improving even with intensive care will be asked to consider moving to a regular hospital bed. Doctors will also be asked to clearly communicate with patients about do-not-resuscitate orders.
Reminder: Republicans pearl clutched about "death panels" killing grandma and grandpa in 2008, warning the Democrats would be the cause. They're literally the ones responsible for states/hospitals needing to create them in the year 2020.
Republicans are responsible for death panels killing grandma and grandpa.
More than the second time, I think. New York was basically forced to do something similar back at the start of this mess when nobody knew anything about how to treat it. Then Arizona had to do it during the wave down south. I'd be surprised if it wasn't happening to a lesser degree in other states. We all knew it was coming with this wave.

That has more to do with the lower-level employees than anything coming down from the top. When it comes to the mail you'll find a lot more ground-level dedication than you'd find in a lot of other professions. If you're seeing people out delivering far later than usual chances are they're doing it out of a sense of duty and likely aren't being compensated for their time.
Be nice to your mail deliverers, people.
Yup they have been and we have Steve Bullock to thank for it.

The postal service agreed to reverse all changes, which included reduced retail hours, removal of collection boxes and mail sorting machines, closure or consolidation of mail processing facilities, restriction of late or extra trips for timely mail delivery, and banning or restricting overtime.
The agreement also requires the Postal Service to prioritize election mail.
The settlement agreement was reached a day ahead of a hearing in the U.S. District Court in Great Falls. It applies to all states.
Alaska his some ridiculous until-today-never-before-reached new daily case load number (approaching 600). As you've been saying, it's going to get Very Bad and then we'll have to see if it ever gets better.

Don't fuck with Big Sky country.
(thanks for that link - hadn't seen anything about it)
Full Joe Biden '60 Minutes' interview transcript here.
You will notice "he gets up and walks out" is not part of the Joe Biden transcript.
"Yeah but they wouldn't give a transcript of --"
He did not see her in a little while. He did not come back.Lesley Stahl: You said to me, "I say that because I need to dis-- discredit you so that when you say negative things about me, no one will believe you."
President Donald Trump: I don't have to discredit you.
Lesley Stahl: But that's what you told me--
President Donald Trump: You've discredited yourself.
Lesley Stahl: You know, I didn't want to have this kind of angry--
President Donald Trump: Of course you did.
Lesley Stahl: No, I didn't--
President Donald Trump: Of course you did--
Lesley Stahl: --no, I didn't.
President Donald Trump: Well, then you brought up a lot of subjects that were inappropriately brought up--
Lesley Stahl: Well, I said, I'm gonna ask you tough questions. But--
President Donald Trump: They were inappropriately brought up. Right from the beginning. No, your first question was, "This is going to be tough questions." You don't ask Joe Biden, I saw your interview with Joe, the interview with Joe Biden.
Lesley Stahl: I never did a Joe Biden interview-
President Donald Trump: It was a joke. The interview, 60 Minutes. I see Joe Biden, giving softball after softball. I've seen all of his interviews. He's never been asked a question that's hard.
Lesley Stahl: Okay, but forget him for a minute. You're President--
President Donald Trump: No, but you start with me.
Lesley Stahl: You're President, and-
President Donald Trump: Excuse me, Lesley, you started with me. Your first statement was, "Are you ready for tough questions?"
Lesley Stahl: Are you?
President Donald Trump: That's no way to talk. That's no way to talk.
Producer: Lesley, one, one second.
At this point one of our producers interrupted to advise about the time remaining in the interview.
President Donald Trump: I think we have enough of an interview here, Hope. Okay? That's enough. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go meet for two seconds, okay? Thanks. I'll see you in a little while. Thanks.
Now, you'll notice the bolded part above. That back and forth, where Trump was talking about an interview that Stahl says she did not give? You know what that means: 24 hours challenge time!
@DocSavageFan -- I know you're banned, but you can always read up on the issue anyhow, and possibly comment when you return.

I'm going to give you four options this time.
1) You say that Stahl did an interview with Biden during this election cycle. To take this answer, you must find it and link it.
2) You say that Trump used the plural "you" to refer to 60 Minutes, but was still talking about an interview from this election cycle. Again, to take htis option, you must find it and link it.
3) You say that Trump used the plural "you" to refer to the media in general, and as such, is using an overly-broad generalization and applying it to Leslie Stahl, despite neither Stahl nor 60 Minutes doing what Trump said. You don't need to link this one.
4) You say nothing, which I will take as admission that Trump lied about seeing any interview, and further by taking this action you admit you are a coward for refusing to answer when #3 is a fucking slow-pitch softball right over the goddam steam plate.
The election cycle is coming to an end, so no extensions. Those are your options, time starts now.
