But Trump's drummed up a base of lunatics and it'll depend on how he and his stooges try and spin the narrative when they're on the way out. I see isolated incidents in the future more than I see mass civil unrest, and from there an uptick in Proud Boy and other goose-steppers holding rallies and protests as they vent their impotent anger.
The reason we've seen an uptick under Trump where we didn't see one under Obama in radical far right groups, despite them ostensibly having problems with Obama while loving Trump, is because Obama made them feel persecuted and repressed (which they absolutely were and deserved to be) and would not hesitate to condemn them at every turn.

Trump, on the other hand, has all but endorsed them. He's legitimized them in a way that allows them to attract new members and find spaces to speak publicly, which emboldens and grows their ranks.

I've said it before and I'll say it again... You don't defeat nazis (which these fucks might as well be) by ignoring them or hand-waving them away. To make them go away you must condemn them, expose them and mock them at every single turn, as much as possible.

So it's no surprise to me that, when the highest office in the land does the former and tacitly supports them and accepts their support, they grow, but when the highest office in the land stands strongly against them, they cower back into the shadows where they belong.

You're REALLY not paying attention if you think there won't be millions out in the streets if Trump nakedly steals this.

To clarify, by nakedly I mean that it's obvious he lost, but pulls some shit with mail in ballets. Or if he clearly lost, and the court hands him the election.

We're not gonna tolerate that shit.
I was answering the first question of your post. You asked if trump supporters will mass protest if he loses.

As for him "stealing" it, there will be over 200 protests alone if he declares victory early

    https://www.newsweek.com/over-200-pr...eclare-1540741

if he outright steals it, might be past the point of protests then. Belarus territory.

I see Yall'Quaeda is doing a dry run today in preparation for blocking people from voting on Tuesday.

I hope the FBI steps in for security, since the police is too busy aiding voter suppression to do anything.

Trump advisor goes on network registered as a foreign agent to do an interview.

Spouts conspiracy theories about the coronavirus.

Apologies for going onto a network registered as a foreign agent, doesn't apologize for conspiracy theories.

This is the Trump administration in a nutshell.

There seems to be more indication that Trump's luke-warm stance against such far-right extremist groups and their rise in popularity could just be two unrelated events. The condemnation of such groups usually does little to nothing when it comes to stemming their popularity. (Just look at various EU nations where showing far-right support is in some cases outright illegal by law, yet they're some of the biggest political groups in those nations). Their growth more often than not seems to have a much stronger correlation with growing wealth inequality than anything else.

Overall people vote for 'normalcy' or for the 'status quo' only when they've no financial concerns.
And yet the economy was on an uptick under Obama; one that continued under Trump following Obama's momentum until finally Trump's dumbass policies finally caused it to collapse. But the massive rise in right-wing violence and sympathetic groups only grew significantly under Trump.

And moreover, who is Trump telling people are the cause of their economic and societal woes? Corporate fat cats? Wall street executives? Billionaires like himself (or, at least, as he claims to be?)

No, he's telling people it's illegal immigrants, minorities stealing their jobs, people pushing for increases in minimum wage, women acting out of place, being taxed too much, and other hackneyed right-wing talking points. And these things feed directly into the narrative that radical right-wing groups push for.

Trump tacitly endorsing these idiots is what has caused them to grow so rapidly. David fucking Duke (Former leader of the KKK, avowed neonazi and holocaust denier, in case they didn't teach you that in Belgium) basically said he feels that Trump supports the views of the klan.

Nazis have only been able to prosper because they were ignored or appeased; that's just the historical fact of the matter. Fighting them... and their leaders, and leaders that support them, is paramount in keeping them down.

The interesting notion is that if they try and block polling places on election day, they're actually more likely to disproportionately disenfranchise republican voters, seeing as democrat voters have by and large been leading the mail-in and vote-early crowds.

He tweeted that “everything went swimmingly” with his development plans after initially “having a very hard time getting approvals”.

In 2008 Connery is reported as saying of the project: “During tough economic times, this is a major vote of confidence in Scotland’s tourist industry and our ability to rise to the challenge. I look forward to seeing a new gem in the north-east that is good for Aberdeenshire and good for Scotland.”

But Martin Ford, the Aberdeenshire councillor who was chair of the planning committee that initially refused Trump’s application to build the resort, told the Guardian: “Mr Connery was not involved in the due process that led to the granting of planning permission for a golf resort at Menie. He did not submit a letter of representation to the council, appear at the planning hearing, or at the public local inquiry.”
In "memorializing" the late Sean Connery, Trump makes up a blatant lie about Connery helping him get a resort in Scotland.

Trump has no problems lying about the dead, because he is a terrible human being on every level.

And to follow up on my earlier post: Trump Supporters shut down the Mario Cuomo Bridge now by blocking it with their cars.

Again, I'm sure our ideologically consistent conservative friends will jump to condemn these folks for daring to block precious traffic and our noble police force will disperse them as readily as they have every other disruptive protest so far.

    Any minute now!!

It's the same things with all those "I never said that" and other objective lies. He either pretends, or honestly believes, that people don't remember things or can find them.

If it's any... consolation, I suppose, I highly doubt that these states (New Jersey, New York) they're obstructing the flow of traffic in have much tolerance for their bullshit. Especially if they try it again on election day, a weekday, as opposed to Sunday afternoon.

It's probably why they're doing these coordinated rallies in states they're not going to win; They don't want to depress their own voter turnout in key states and want to look like they're 'standing up' to evil liberals.

Same reason CA GOP put up all those fake ballot boxes and dared Democrats to do something about it.

Honestly, I don’t think these specific ground level trumpkins blocking up traffic have that grand of a plan in mind. I assume they’re being fuckwits just to be fuckwits.

If I were to think of US states whose populations would suffer fools gladly and be intimidated by traffic, New York and New Jersey are not near the top of that list.
