ARE YOU TIRED OF WINNING YET?!Judge rejects Trump campaign effort to slow down, amend Clark County mail ballot counting and processing system

Biden had 25 events in PA in the last week...
I think he can afford to go to *checks a map* the next state over and be ok.
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-u...-idUSKBN27I29VA federal judge in Texas on Monday appeared skeptical of an attempt by Republicans to throw out about 127,000 votes already cast in the U.S. presidential election at drive-through voting sites in Houston, a Democratic-leaning area.
U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanen said the Republicans who brought the case faced an uphill road in convincing him that the votes should be voided.
The judge said the plaintiffs needed to show that Harris County Clerk Chris Hollins, a Democrat, had an “evil motive” in allowing drive-through voting as an alternative during the coronavirus pandemic.
Good news on the voting case in TX, federal judge doesn't seem terribly inclined to toss the votes out apparently.
Man, I'd love to hear the legal definition of "evil" be, "They might win an election because people were allowed to vote!"

How Monmouth changed their polling weights between 2016 and 2020 -

This comparison of Monmouth's final PA polls shows how samples have been adjusted to avoid a 2016 surprise. 2016 weighting on left, 2020 on right.
Dems are down from +11 to +2. And education weighting is added to ensure 64% are non-college.
Biden leads anyway, by 5 to 7 points.![]()
Real question: What the fuck is a "non-scalable barrier"? IS it like...electrified? Are there running blades all over it? IS there a meat grinder at the top that sucks people in? I WANT TO KNOW!
Though color me amused that, once again, Trump is turtling up in the White House and hiding in a bunker.

Remember how Trump said nobody would be able to climb his Wall?
And then people just...you know...did it for fun?
And then parts fell over?
Look, it's the same fence as last time. It has barbed wire on the top. Anyone could climb it. The trick is climbing it without being shot.
It's like that time Trump bragged about how nobody could climb the wall...and then immediately remembered ladders exist.

Sure, why not? He can say he's the King of England on Nov. 3 if he wants. Or the Prime Minister of New Zealand.
It doesn't actually mean anything.
He can do this, and it will rile up his supporters and drive them into a frenzy if the votes don't back up his claim. But legally it won't matter. We just gotta hope that his base doesn't continue going full-ISIS and continue their campaign of domestic terrorism.

Words to live by.

Historically they're called well before that, counting all the vote can take weeks. But we don't usually need to have them all counted, and AP routinely calls the election based on projections of early votes. And I don't think they've been wrong. They may hold this prediction longer (IIRC last year they held the prediction a few hours waiting on more results) this year and we may not get it until Wednesday or later, but the "call" doesn't require a full count. The certification making if "official" does, which happens well after the election.

I'm not sure how many people realize it, but Texas is actually in danger of going blue. It's currently within the margin of error and there's a very solid argument (I won't get into it here because it could be an entirely separate discussion of its own) that the margin may be in Biden's favor. I think it's absolutely despicable and should get him in some kind of trouble, but it's smart. His original "I LOVE TEXAS" tweet and any supportive tweets will bolster his idiot base there and help ensure he keeps it.
Which ends up being a win for Biden, anyway. Forcing Trump to spend his last energy and resources in TEXAS must not be a great feeling for the Trump campaign.
Where is this idea of Ohio being automatically red coming from? They've voted with the eventual winning candidate in every election since 1964. In fact, the 1960 and 1944 elections were the only time they "got it wrong" since 1896; that's a 14/14 record over the last 56 years and a 29/31 record over the last 124 years.
Ohio is essentially a permanent swing state until proven otherwise.
