Interestingly, our estimate of the national vote margin is not too sensitive to our likely voter model (Biden's margin is pretty robust to different turnout assumptions).

But this is very much not the case in Texas, where turnout will clearly make a big difference.

Their model predicts 11.2m voters in Texas. Texas is currently sitting at 9.8m voters.

The catch is the buses that were shuttling people didn’t get paid so they left instead of wasting more fuel.

To follow up: they get promised they'll get paid when the campaign lands on the ground. Which is why they transport people there, on the basis of that promise.

Then the campaign doesn't pay.

So they leave.

I guess this is the bus company's fault. It's hilarious, but now they're out the money. They should have asked for it all up front, and not brought peoplt to the rallies when they weren't paid.

Most people don't have to use "extortion" to be paid to complete a job. But this is Trump we're talking about. You sign a contract with him, you know what you're getting into.
