That's the news coming out now.

Have you seen Trump's latest polls? He's screaming at his campaign manager now, in public of people willing to tell others about it, because he's even behind in Florida atm.

Lil Coxy knows this - he just can't admit that his initial point was essentially a lie. So now, instead of being intellectually honest, he's pulling a Trumpster and doubling down on his dishonesty and ignorance.

This whole situation isn't good, but if Reade is turning out to be who she now appears, she's doing more harm to women right now.

It's really sad you think this is what sexual assault means. Your teachers must be pissed you're fucking up what they tried to teach you.

Yeah he threatened to sue his campaign manager because of that.

So it would seem. That's unfortunate.

I saw that in the article - fucking hysterical. Trump's campaign manager is the guy who came out of no where and is making a percentage off all campaign donations, right? I'm not 100% sure I've got that right - their corruption is so legion it's hard to keep track of it.

Sexual assault refers to an assault of a sexual nature on another person. It can include a wide range of unwanted sexual contact such as rape, forced vaginal, anal or oral penetration, forced sexual intercourse, inappropriate touching, forced kissing, child molestation ,exhibitionism, voyeurism, obscene phone calls torture of a victim in a sexual manner etc. The actor causes submission of the victim by means that is reasonably calculated to cause submission against the victim's will. Definitions of offences are primarily governed by state criminal laws, which vary by state. It is generally a felony.

It really is - Lil Coxy had been doing well in other discussions. But looking back, I wonder if he's just stirring the pot as a faux-Trumpster.

Thanks for that link. Proves you wrong, but it's good you're trying not to lie any more. The things in the video, you linked, don't match up with the definitions, you re-linked/affirmed - which means you're proving that Biden does not, in fact, have a history of sexual assault.

Any word on those links about me calling those women liars? Or the sexual assault charges against Biden? We're still waiting....

It remains the most amazing sight to see so many fall upon the sword for Joe Biden of all people. Not even an eloquent well spoken huckster, but a senile, dementia addled, notoriously corrupt, straight up lobbyist puppet. A husk of a person, whose likely VP picks have all lined up to self-immolate and cast aside whatever values they pretended to have to protect Joe Biden from this allegation. All this shameless partisan hackery and shameless hypocritical shilling and its not even for policies they believe in. Not even for the dream or feint hope of a materially better world or structural changes, nope, they do this for a candidate more flawed and nakedly corrupt than Hillary Clinton and with his mind turning to pudding. All of this self destruction and vaporizing of ones own integrity for a man who has said "Nothing will fundamentally change".

This is like people defending a sports star amidst a sex allegation simply because you are a fan of that team. Like you get NOTHING out of this and yet you'll fling yourself on the fire anyway.

Why has the Trump and the GOP abandoned the working class?

Days after Trump ordered workers back to the meat plants without protections.
Nearly 900 workers at Tyson meat plant in Indiana test positive for coronavirus!

This is criminal negligence by Tyson Foods. There should be indictments. Oh wait, Trump gave them liability protection.

Also Trump, speaking with his other voice ... away from voters.
Trump orders new government 100,000 body bags.

So while Trump is sizing up working class Americans for body bags. Some concern trolls have deep reservations about some conspiracy about Biden.

It's going to be a long seven months.

Can it actually be called "abandoning" if they were never with the working class to begin with?

I did read it. What you bolded says "assault of a sexual nature," which means "inappropriate touching" of a sexual nature. Given that he behaves much the same way with men, his behavior doesn't match anything you bolded, and to try to claim otherwise to cover for not knowing better is speculation at best, and deliberately dishonest at worst. Other than Tara Reade, what those women described is definitionally not sexual assault, as the link demonstrates--and not even the women themselves are claiming otherwise.

Gonna need to see some evidence for that. Hold the youtube.

Picking Larry Summers for econ advisor suggests his plan would be as bad, possibly worse.

That article is quite... interesting. My overall take: this is good news in that the workers finally got tested, and are finally being dealt with appropriately. Having them come to work while having the virus is MUCH worse.

    Second take:
The coronavirus infected 890 of the 2,200 people at the plant located in Logansport, Ind., local station WISH TV reported Wednesday.
890 out of 2200 is ... well this number basically means that whether we start up meat processing plants now and shut them down in a few weeks after too many people get the virus, or we shut them down now, the end result is the same: meat production will substantially drop in the US. It is likely that other foods will have the same issue. It would be nice if we could trust meat processing companies to come up with processes that would have lower production rates and increased production costs due to protecting the health of its workforce, but that is just something that American companies do NOT do. Creating a decent plan and then implementing it on a large scale would be a multi-month task, but it THEORETICALLY could be done. The odds are against it happening.

Tyson is seeing plants like this have to be closed:

Tyson announced last week that the company would voluntarily close its facility and work with county officials on a plan to reopen.
and yet they seem to refuse to consider plans that would be safer for its workforce. Well they will put in place inexpensive ineffective policies for show, but that is not getting the job done.

Cass County Commissioner Ryan Browning said he’s working with Tyson and the health department to develop a workable reopening plan, according to WISH.
County Commissioners have proven to be, basically, paid employees of the meat companies they are "advising". First the company writes up their recommendations and plans, then the commissioner proposes the company plans as the county plan. So far around the country, this has turned out miserably.

“We've been screening worker temperatures, requiring protective face coverings and conducting additional cleaning and sanitizing," Tyson said in the statement. "We’ve also implemented social distancing measures, such as workstation dividers and more breakroom space.”
And these are the ineffective policies that were put into place to protect the health of the workforce. Either a lot of people got the virus all at once, or they just kind of ignored the numbers when it was 200, 400, 600, and 800. Finally, 890... well that's too many.

From a political standpoint, this is not just a Trump problem, nor is it just a republican problem. It's a national problem that is likely to be played out repeatedly across the country. The fact that health workers are mostly still alive and virus free shows that the virus CAN kind of be contained in a workforce situation. But there is absolutely no national effort to come up with appropriate and effective manufacturing standards for working while in a virus environment.
