The idea of a "mandate" is just made up shit.

The question is will he have the votes in the Senate/Congress to ram through whatever he wants or not?

Kokolums is a lunatic, but he is quite representative of the Republican base, for them a victory of any type will count as a "mandate" for carrying out their worst power fantasies. Arguing with them the definition of a mandate is about as productive as pissing into a storm force wind.

I think we can all agree Trump threw out the book of normalcies, and so as long as biden gets sworn in the he needs to get down to business and no trying to play nice like obama did

New: Philadelphia officials say they will not be reporting any more mail ballot results tonight. About 76,000 have been tallied so far — out of 350,000-some received. And remember, Biden supporters are disproportionately voting by mail.

Also, WI, MI, and PA are going to do the opposite of what FL and NC did with big Dem leads early from mail in votes, only to be whittled away by day of voting. They’re mostly going to be day of initially, with mail in coming slowly.

Maricopa County just reported 1.45 million ballots. (That's about the same as total number counted in 2016.)

Biden leads 54/44, Mark Kelly leads 55/44.

NC has also reported they have still another 942k votes to count. Not sure from what areas.

Are we really just not paying attention? Just voting randomly? What does it take for wide swaths of people to finally say, "Ok, none of us are voting for that guy"?

I don't even know how people are voting for the guy who is fine with a 9/11 death count every day and thinking that is fine. Like you bet your ass he'd have been lynched if that were terrorists doing it.
