He hasn’t won yet. Still time to go. Until Trump is out, nothing is done.

Also, the Senate looks like a big logjam. Maine being Maine. Looks like it’ll be blue but with Collins in tow. I don’t even know...

    Lol he can't.

    That's not how it works.

He might as well send out an executive order asking for some moon-cheese to be brought to him.

But good to know that you'd support Trump installing himself as a dictator.

Another one to add to the fascist box.

Yeah. Its not 100% over yet but it really really looks like Biden has won.

Fuck the autocrat. Fuck the wannabe dictator Trump.

I'm going to enjoy watching him stand trial.

Oh yeah but the Senate that does look fucked for now. But I'm already thinking ahead to 2022...

Does anyone think Trump's low propensity turnout voters are going to turnout for someone other than Trump in the mid-terms?

They didn't in 2018 so why would they when he's not even president and likely rotting in jail?

It’s all going to be a bit of a damp squib if the GOP retains the senate, my dude. Have you met Mitch?

If Biden does indeed win, and if trump is indeed brought before criminal proceedings, the senate won’t be able to do jack to defend him.

I’m more than happy with simply evicting trump at this point in time.

So a very likely scenario is that Biden will end up with 270 or 271 electoral votes. But even then we have to worry about bullshit like the Supreme Court finding some way to invalidate certain votes, and bullshit like faithless electors. I know some states have laws requiring electors to cast their vote for the nominee they are pledged to, but not all states.

I think we'll probably know who won by the end of the day tomorrow, but we may be waiting until December 14 (when the electors actually meet and vote) to find out if that person will actually become President.

Indeedido. Just FYI though, Michigan is far from a lock. There’s a lot of ballots and it could go either way. Nothing is for certain at all.

In other news, I appreciate that Iowa is hard red town, but who in their right mind re-elected Joni Ernst? She’s incompetent at another level.

At this point, I don't really care if Biden wins with a Democratic Senate. As a Pennsylvanian in Trump country, I need to see the TRUMP CULT DIE! That's why he's so strong at the moment, his cult status is INSANE. His followers to be disgraced and demoralized.

Im betting on either the supreme court or a faithless elector giving Trump the win as the only way he is going to win.

The same could be said for Trump

According to Nate Cohn from the NYTimes, the so-far counted mail-in ballots in PA are 'overwhelmingly' in favor of Biden; he says if the remaining ones favor him at the same rate he'll win the state.

This turning out to be close, as I predicted. It may come down to one state, Penn, making the final decision. I am glad to see my state did go Trump pretty strongly, just as they did in 2016. 8% win for Trump.

And once again, most of the pollsters got it wrong. According to the RPG average, this should have been a easy win for Biden.

Pollsters can’t account for people being so ashamed of voting Trump they lie about it.

    Let's hope he's right.

While the current map has Biden at a technical win, PA padding out the results a little would be nice.

Yeah, I am really skeptical of that unfortunately. The GOP is ridiculously good at winning coin flips. The votes seem to be going Biden's way, but a barrage of recounts and court challenges are going to make it really messy. One of the players controls the Judiciary, Justice Department, and Senate. I am not convinced this is going to be any sort of clear Biden win before the end of the month.

The bright side is that this election appears to have been remarkably clean. Despite all the doomsayers predicting mass violence and disorder at polling stations, or widespread cyber attacks and such, none of that seems to have materialized in sufficient quantities. Court challenges are going to be more difficult, because it is the morning after, and nobody is really alleging any sort of fraud or misconduct (Not counting Trump's claim of mail in ballot fraud, because that isn't being taken seriously).

One takeaway from this election, regardless of who wins: COVID didn't hurt Trump nearly as much as most people thought it would. It seems like the "LIBERATE YOUR STATE!" bullshit motivated his voters to turn out about as much as his incompetent response to COVID motivated Biden voters to turn out.

I think it’s going to take a decade or two for the Trump damage to be undone.

Again, FAITHLESS ELECTORS ARE NOT A THING ANYMORE. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/sup...toral-n1231394

And the Supreme Court cannot help him at this point.

If Biden wins Michigan and Wisconsin, Biden doesn't even need Pennsylvania. But if @Skulltaker is right, PA might go Biden as well.

If the GOP keeps the senate I don't see how anything major happens the next 4 years if Biden wins at all.
