There are things the House can stop him from doing, and things the House has no control over. They're pretty consistently succeeded in the former, which is why a lot of the damage being done now is stuff that goes solely through the Senate.

Sending Federal Troops won't do shit, because there isn't an violence anywhere. Nothing more embarrasing then showing up in riot gear and you can't find any riots.

No, for all the fear of it, there doesn't seem to be any sort of civil unrest. Nor will there be. This seems to be a good clean election, America isn't tearing its own throat out, nobody is killing each other on the streets, the vote count seems to reflect what voters actually voted.

The only thing that would actually surprise me is him conceding. Any other feculant sentence that leaves his mouth, no matter how petty, violent, paranoid or conspiratorial, would be par the course. Just like every other thing he’s said these past four years.

It's a 238/216. (213 really +3 from Alaska which hasn't been called yet, but you know...it's Alaska).

The current assumption is that Biden will win Nevada, Michigan and Wisconsin, while also holding Arizona, which was called for Biden but there are some possible issues there, which will get him to 270.

If there's a hitch tho, any hitch, with any of those states then were back to a Pennsylvania tie breaker.

It's still far from being in the bag, but looks favorably for Biden.

I'm hopeful but faaaaar from confident.
