NC will keep collecting ballots for a week or so. It very well could go Biden and be a dem senate pick up.

Arizona still has 500k+ votes to count. Most of them are from a Biden friendly county. None of them are election day in person votes (I don't think).

Am I right saying that based on remaining votes and lead sizes:

Biden is guaranteed to win Michigan.
Trump is is guaranteed to win everything else except Nevada
Basically whoever wins Nevada wins the white house.
Nevada is still totally up for grabs with 2/3 of votes yet to be counted and only 7k difference ATM.

I don't think they have enough money to mount another campaign just from the donations they got from this past one. Campaigns aren't cheap and it's not like they were holding back on their spending in this election.

Have you've seen the election results. Unfortunately, the Republican Party is far from dead. Hell, it looks like they've been unestimated by many. The whole Lincoln Project scam being a success means they got exactly what they want.

Fox news called it because they don't see any way for Trump to make up the difference there. They might have jumped the gun too early, but they explained reasoning multiple times and it's down to remaining votes simply not going to be the Trump ratio that can give him lead.

Nope.

PA could still flip for Biden. In fact there has been talk of it doing exactly that to the tune of 100K or so votes once all is said and done. As long as all the votes get counted I think PA will flip to Biden.

GA could also still Flip to Biden, but the margins are much smaller. Could go either way but will probably end up with Trump.

NV will most likely stay with Biden. The votes that are left to be counted heavily favor Dems, but there is the off chance it could flip.

Again, the idea is popular. When you start getting down to brass tacks of how much it will cost etc., that popularity drops significantly. See Elizabeth Warren: Her M4A plan rollout gutted her campaign.

Her plan failed because it actually WASN'T that and it wasn't even simple or smart as she actually allegedly was able to do, despite her "Plan for that schtick". Plus what sunk her was her stating it was one of those "I'll get to it tomorrow.... or never" type promises. Warren collapsed because it turned out she wasn't really for any sort of Universal Health Care in any meaningful way.

Never said it was? Just that it was the most progressive state, which is largely is. That doesn't mean it's universally progressive across the board, it's not and never has been (remember Governor Schwarzenegger?!).

The NAACP, sure. Again, I'm with you on that, and she needs to be replaced as the head of the CA chapter.

But MADD? They've never been "lefties" or really, partisan at all. They're a single issue group: They want drunk drivers off the road, and they don't give a shit how it happens. They'll support liberal policies, conservative policies, corporate policies or anything else if it accomplishes their stated goal.

This reads like pure cope. The state has no internal Universal Health Care, just special compact dispensations. And seems utterly enthralled by tech oligarchs, as prop 22 demonstrates. Also Schwarzenegger? Pretty Liberal, or do you conflate Progressive, Liberal, Democrat and Leftist into one category?

Look at where we are not compared to pre-ACA

Pre-existing condition coverage went from a rarity to a mandate, and enjoys massive support.
Tens of millions more Americans have health insurance now, getting them into the system and ideally getting them politically engaged to improve the ACA.
Annual/lifetime caps are gone, and that similarly enjoys massive support.
Keeping kids on until their 26 is now universal, and enjoys massive support.
Expanded coverage for reproductive health, minus religious institutions, also is a big improvement and enjoys majority support now.
It caps insurance company profits and requires rebates after a certain threshhold, it just requires an executive branch willing to enforce it.

What would happen under Biden? Look at his plan, which works to expand access to the ACA to even more Americans and improve the quality of coverage they have while working to reduce costs for drugs etc. That's another step closer to M4A, with an expanded government run insurance program, and the more comfortable folks are with it and the more they see it won't lead to "SOCIALISM!!! DEATH PANELS!!!", the more likely they are to support actual M4A proposals.

Which they aren't doing now. They're only supporting the idea of M4A.

His plan? Biden's plan is whatever he states to his benefactors who gave him money. He also vowed to kill it even if it passed. Given who gave him money and who he surrounds himself with, I don't see any reason to believe he will do even that.

So this still sounds like magical thinking. "See after we pass fifty wonkish changes, and ummm.... like people will start liking the ACA, despite, you know it adding a whole layer of bills and bureaucracy to deal with, in fact the ACA is still struggling to be widely accepted, with the exception of the Pre-Existing Condition Protections which is great, but the ACA has generally been wildly unpopular, likely because, nobody likes paying an extra bill, and having to interact with yet another state bureaucracy to be assigned a product you HAVE to buy. No wonder people dislike Socialism, they've been led to believe the most "market based solution" on the planet IS socialism.

So your plan to get people to like Universal Health Care is by giving them another bill to pay, making it mandatory and punishable by a fine, forcing them to wait on hold to call a Healthcare Marketplace Rep. to get sorted and assigned a product to buy? And you wonder why there is revulsion.

Sorry, I don't buy that this is a stepping stone. Given that what is unpopular and hated about the ACA is precisely all the Market bits of it.
