Historically they are not. Less then 10% of deployed military actually votes, and there really isn't that many of them. It comes out to about 90-100k military votes spread all over the US (Assuming it was higher this year). The military isn't particularly monolithic in how it votes either, so it isn't likely to contribute to any results. It comes up every election, but the math is never there.
It's not gonna happen, but would be nice if this process lead to a push for election reform. I wish we just had a consistent national standard for voting and early voting that would ensure preliminary counts within the first 48 hours. I know they'll never get rid of the electoral college because they need that to finagle wins when they lose the popular vote, but there's no reason to have so much discrepancy from state to state in polling methods.
They did stop the count. What are they complaining about now.

Georgia reports that it has 61,000 mail in ballots that it expects to finish counting by noon, aside from all this other county stuff. The "mail in" part should be deeply concerning for Trump.
Because the greatest superpower on earth typically relies on volunteer poll workers to count votes, and those people have a median age of about 65, and they have a bedtime.
Not sure what sort of elite professional organization you think runs election offices in Marrieta, Ga, but the reality might disappoint you.
I am inclined to point this out:
There are 13 military bases in GA... including one of the biggest in the country:
