And to think this is after Covid tanked Trump's national popularity. If it never happened he'd be coasting to a cozy win right now because people just enjoy being under someone else's heel that much.

Basically all the math says that Biden is projected to win if things hold how they are. He is definitely the most likely by a large margin, but there is still a chance which is what is keeping us all here. Don't want to pop the cork early.

2000 and the 2010 redistricting were serious blows but look at the 2008 and 2012 elections. I still remember Romney losing support because saying "binders full of women" was deemed unacceptable. By 2016 though saying "Grab them by the pussy" was just fine. Something clearly broke during those 4 years and many more things have gone wrong since then.
