“Do not lose time on daily trivialities. Do not dwell on petty detail. For all of these things melt away and drift apart within the obscure traffic of time. Live well and live broadly. You are alive and living now. Now is the envy of all of the dead.” ~ Emily3, World of Tomorrow
Words to live by.
So how much of the world do people think will end up celebrating when the election finally gets called in Bidens favor?

He has support of around 1/5th~1/6th on average across the globe. Most people probably don't give a shit about american politics to begin with. The rest is probably breathing a sigh of relief right now that they don't have to deal with the orange moron in charge and his constant presence in the news anymore.
You are welcome, Metzen. I hope you won't fuck up my underground expansion idea.
I figured right-wing Israelis would probably be upset to see him lose simply because Trump rubberstamped/turned a blind eye to a lot of what Netanyahu was up to. Russia would be losing its puppet & Biden less likely to put up with Russias shit, too.
The Saudi government might not be happy, either, given Trump defended Bonesaw Salman a lot.

It's gonna be like the ending of Return of the Jedi.
Seriously though I'll just be glad that we're going to see a return to a normal news cycle and I think most of the world thinks that. Joe Biden will be good enough as a president. Donald was annoying, but he's not unworkable. The CCP just released their next 5-year plan a week or so ago, and that impacts a huge portion of the worlds' daily lives just as much, but the presidential race was apparently important enough that we can completely ignore it.
If I wasn't busy with work I'd probably go out and have a few drinks to celebrate that this shitshow of an election is over.

If you are particularly bold, you could use a Shiny Ditto. Do keep in mind though, this will infuriate your opponents due to Ditto's beauty. Please do not use Shiny Ditto. You have been warned.

Well, they can come across as haughty sometimes is all. I mean, people like Obama just have a certain aloofness to them that puts off some people is all, shrug.
Though that is exactly what I said? At the end of the day, the divide will not overcome if even one side has the stance of "only the others need to change their behaviour". Democrats need to be open to working together and Republicans need to stop such hyperpartisan acts like what you mentioned. I didn't say it would be the same effort for both parties, nor that both share the blame equally. Just the concerted effort of both is needed, really.
Somehow it seems that the context was lost, so let me make this clearer. I was replying to someone who blamed Democrats for Trump fans/hardcore Republicans voting for Trump. When I talk about both parties needing to make an effort, I mean that Republicans need to start even remotely trying to make one. The Dems already are.

If they would just fucking call the election he could get some sleep.
I saw something about Chris Cuomo admitting that the networks (Or at least CNN) are reluctant to call the race until they are certain of the results due in part to Trumps lying about everything being rigged or something like that.

Yeah, I'm worried that Trump's going to use his lame duck period to do something really batshit as retaliation. Almost makes me wish that we didn't need to wait until the end of January to swear in Biden- like boot Warchief Tangerine out, do the official swearing in now and use the inauguration as a ceremonial gesture. Like getting married at the courthouse and then having a real wedding when you can afford it.
He might try, but I'd be surprised if he has enough legislative support left to actually get anything substantial done. Most of his time is probably going to be spent trying to fight the loss in court (assuming they don't all just throw his challenges out as being obviously baseless) and preparing to defend himself in court from the shit that will be coming his way when he's no longer protected by the office.
