    Also can't pardon state charges.

Something I've been wondering for some time now...

How are the people that count the votes chosen?
What I'm not getting is, if Trump's voters were concerned about fraud, why didn't they participate and volunteer and thus make sure the count was done right? I mean, the 'rigged' meme isn't actually a surprise, it was even a thing in 2016 (until Trump won) and it came up again before the election. So if you want to make sure it doesn't happen, you... need to participate and be in the right place to prevent that, don't you?

In any other circumstance I'd say no.

But if the last four years have proved anything . . . who knows.

a mix of state and county and city employee's, and volunteers. your argument is valid. Red hats and brown shirts certainly could have volunteered, but something tells me counting isn't a strong suit for them.

    Nixon was never formally charged.

Trump probably can't pardon himself, but he could resign tomorrow and Pence could do it with zero recourse whatsoever. They would have to name what he is being pardoned for (which would be a LONG list). It also wouldn't protect him from state level prosecution so SDNY would just nail him to the wall.

His only hope of avoiding prosecution at this point is to get a Pence pardon and flee to a non-extradition country before SDNY can pick him up, but I highly doubt the Secret Service and DoD would let him go, he's a massive national security risk given what he knows and his massive amount of debt.

Had somebody attempted to nominate him as Secretary of Treasury or Commerce for some insane reason, he wouldn't have been able to get a security clearance. The only reason he gets one as President is because Presidents are exempt from the normal rules, due to being elected.

US was already ahead of the goals in the Accord. If Trump wouldn’t have pulled out, we would have been done by that years end. I don’t know what fuckery you are rambling on, but rejoining the Paris accord is a bar a elephant can clear... at least for US... since we were that far ahead, before Don Trumplione...

Reverse everything Trump did, Ok fine if that benefits you guys.
Uhm... We are hitting 1000 deaths per day to covid... yeah, we want the pandemic response team.

remove billionaires and oil CEOs from positions, Nice we can use good CEOs in the EU.
Cool, we will take your scientist. You take Trump’s CEOs and we will take the scientist he replaced... enjoy...

And rich people are that for a reason if you push them to hard they will settle in the EU and we will all be happy to see them come over toward the EU because those will open conpanies and create jobs.
I didn’t say anything about rich people... If you want rich people that will send their money to China and German bank accounts, without hardly paying taxes in your country, you can keep them.

The VP has very little sway over the Senate unless they are deadlocked 50-50 and the VP breaks the tie. They can't vote unless there's a tie. They can't put anything forward for debate or a vote. They can't convene committees or issue subpoenas.

Well that didn't take too long. GOP in the senate is now saying there will be no new stimulus package.

Hopefully that can be used against them to help win the 2 seats up for grabs in GA.

You have to be willing to volunteer for public service and have some minimum qualifications, or you have to be elected/hired into a state level job that oversees elections.

So wait I've been out of it.

    Biden appears to have won.
Esper resigned because he disagreed with Trump.
    DeVos just got fired.
Meadows and multiple other WH staffers have covid and were spreading it through the west wing for days, keeping their infection secret.

People are losing their minds over Biden winning, either in a good or bad way.

    Am I missing anything?

Why would Trump Pardon himself or step down to have pence pardon him when he truely does think he's commited any crimes. This man doesn't live in reality.
