Here's the difference republicans go for the throat the red meat they give the base are major wins (supreme court justices, tax cuts, reversing the ACA, putting kids in cages). The democrats are always compromising and meek look at what happened with the ACA they talked themselves out of the public option to save blue dog democrats who all lost anyways.

Since Biden is even more to the right then Obama I can only see this being a train wreck of him bending over and taking it up the ass from Moscow Mitch.

One of his biggest controversies was the amount of police injustices that took place under his watch in South Bend, Indiana with a fatal incident gaining national attention. He had a bunch of bullshit nonanswers when asked nothing had been done about the bad policing in his area - of course killing his support amongst black people even from his own town.

What are you talking about? Pete himself went back to south bend to address some of these issues admitting he had failed when it came to people of color. You can look up the recordings and the telling of the events from 2012.

Naturally. And I'm not really looking to specifically state that 2016 was higher turnout than 2008. That entirely depends on whether you're using VAP, VEP, CVAP...

But whether or not 2016 beat 2008 in per capita, it was at the very least second only to 2008, and it was objectively higher in actual number of voters. So the idea that it was "low-turnout" is just ridiculous.

This election, on the other hand, will blow the others out of the water, at least for the last 50 years since the voting age was changed.
