You are comparing them flaming and talking about helicopters, to people celebrating. The cycle is that the other side being happy, is offensive to Trump supporters. As they always say, they don’t care about the policy... it’s the liberal tears. The entire Trump campaign is to hurt people that are not his supporters...

Incidentally, this makes a democrat win feel as bad as they feared.
What? Because people are celebrating in the streets, while they are getting busted for armed plots to attack voting places? You are telling people celebrating to stop, because we might offend people who want to go to war over Trump. Yeah... we eating babies, just like they feared... lol

Don’t say mean things, to people who support a man, that refused to pass a stimulus to help Americans, because blue states are hurting the most? What are people in blue states supposed to do? What’s the common ground? Fuck aid to Americans struggling the most, but supply 100s of millions of dollars of chloroquine to Florida? Yes... that fake cure Trump and his support pushed, as people were dying...

That post is the start of Trump white washing... don’t remind them what they voted for, as Trump is trying to sue his way to president.

Threshold for cloture is 60 votes, not 51.

If you mean they could abolish the filibuster with Harris as the 51st vote to do so, that's possible (Senate rule changes require only 51 votes, as we saw for the confirmation changes), but as the filibuster currently stands, they would need to get a few Republicans on board.

If you are not watching, you might want to tune into wallstreet today... it’s going to be a historic day... The vaccine announcement is colliding with Biden winning, to cause a huge jump. Futures are up 1500!

Biden, has a refreshingly measured take on the vaccine announcement.

Question: Is the Conservative ideology more prone to support nepotism?
Most conservatives I know work in their "family business". Junior most often winding up in charge of "marketing" or "inside sales".

Maybe I should have been more specific.

Normal Senate rules require 60 votes but a point of order can override Senate rules. In the context of the discussion, the nuclear option would be invoked where a Senator requests that the 60 rule be temporarily replaced with a simple majority. The presiding officer then either accepts or puts it to vote (reject but functionally the same thing in this case). The Senators vote and it only takes a simple majority to override the presiding officer.

Any Senate rule can be temporarily suspended this way, including the filibuster. Assuming the VP gets a vote in chamber tiebreakers, they can easily defeat the filibuster and override the 60 vote rule all while bathing in Republican tears.

If I was a petty person, I'd point how it's a shame someone didn't find a vaccine before the election. You hate to see it, really.

It’s literally following the schedule doctors said it is likley to happen. Late November was when the vaccine is supposed to be found. It’s further evidance of how deep Trump’s fuck up to not listen still is...

Months of pleading with them to vote, because they won’t be listened to if they ignore this election. Swiftly turns into a referendum, because they voted... did Russian troll bots not have an alternative to their ‘don’t vote, it doesn’t mater’ campaign?

Because they don’t see other people... even the ones that are in their “tribe”. They couldn’t forecast the praying to doors, the leaving America bullshit or the doom scrolling that a Biden win would bring... they couldn’t fathom that there would be enough ‘bad seeds’ creating an impression of them, like the crying liberal.

Edit: By the way... making a meme out of someone having an emotional breakdown, regardless of how petty it is... was really fucked up.

There is no bloody vaccine for the next 6 months.
What you have are trials and even if a vaccine looks "100% promising" that won't be just announced for this year.

The narrative that Biden is pushing is also one of... you know, competence and measured response, acknowledging the danger while pointing out a solid picture to move ahead in.

    Sooner than that

While high-risk groups like health care workers and the elderly could get the vaccine later this year, experts have widely said the general public is not expected to get a vaccine until sometime several months into 2021.

Alejandro Cané, a vaccine official at Pfizer, said in an interview Monday that under a previously announced $1.95 billion deal with the U.S. government, the company will produce 100 million doses of vaccine between December and March. Those doses would then be available at no cost to the patient. The first people to be vaccinated could therefore get the shots in December.

This election has show us something:

Progressive ideas won out they either took moderate democrat seats and won or they won their reelections.

Meanwhile... where are those moderate democrats those "anti m4a" democrats? those Trumpocrats? Losing.... that's where

Yet people blame AOC and such for house losses when moderates who ran against something supported by 70%+ of the nation lost. This bullshit about compromise and unity is just that... fucking bullshit and I fear all those does is push away the left to court the Right who doesn't give a fuck. This will demoralise the lgbt and minority voters thereby suppressing their votes leading to another Trump era but probably with someone smarter.
