Documentary confirmation from Reade's divorce in '96 about sexual harassment (though per her words she didn't use that term in her complaint) while she worked for Biden. It doesn't specify who harassed her or any specific allegations, just that she was having a problem at the time. So it confirms what was already largely confirmed that, at the very least, Biden made her uncomfortable and that there's merit to some of her claims.

Though interestingly, it contradicts her claim that she was fired in retaliation by stating that she struck a deal with Biden's chief of staff to leave her position.

Again, this is an incredibly messy situation where much of the core accusations remain very credible, but the more recent, extreme accusations seem to be considerably less credible as more and more information comes out.

I think we can acknowledge when the current company one keeps is mildly suspect given their situation.

And I think we can also acknowledge that people change over the years/decades and views they once held, even if truly awful, can be outgrown and they can try to work to counter any harm that may have been done as a result of those views.

I'm not saying Biden is a saint here mind you. But you may as well be saying that Robert Byrd was incapable of redemption for his former KKK days, no matter how hard he fought for equality or how celebrated his work was by groups like the NAACP.

But I think most intelligent people are gonna do a little research if they are gonna put up their own money, and with lawyers it's always quite a lot of money, because they are gonna wanna see what they are spending their money on.
