I swear it feels like Trump supporters are in deeper shock/denial than we were four years ago.

By virtue of being Trump supporters they have to be.

Trump objectively failed in almost everything he tried. And some people are proving they would literally rather die than admit they were wrong. No really, literally, anti-maskers.

I've said routinely that it is difficult to be a Trump supporter without being a hypocrite. I gave people dozens of chances to say "I like Trump, but he was wrong this time" and got over 99.9% "I choose not to answer and admit I'm a coward" responses. But now, we're seeing how bad it is, because not only must they deny the reality that Trump objectively failed at nearly everything, they don't even believe numbers exist.

I was sad and concerned four years ago but I accepted that he won. I even made a facebook post stating my concerns and saying I hoped I was wrong and maybe Trump really will be a good "business" man and help the country. We see how that turned out.

This is way worse. This is flat out denial of reality.

I accepted that he legally won.

I did say "Not my president" but that was more to reject the idea that he represented me, and not to claim he didn't win through legal manners. And yes, there was the Russian interference, but despite the fake news and propaganda from Russia, Americans still made the decision to elect him and he won through our legal framework.

No one is arguing that we need to work on our messaging and outreach. We're arguing about the onesize fits all approach to policy the modern progressive wing of the party wants to push.

I mean, he almost has a point with the first part, minus any illegality to the poll. I want to know how a quality polling outfit the WaPo had a 16 point difference (+17 Biden, to +1 Biden in actuality) in a state just days before the election. Were like 40% of Trump supporters like flat out lying?

His own supporters say they were the ones suppressing the polls by either not responding or lying to pollsters.
They said this was their big strat to get democrats not to come to the polls.

It's within .5%. Any candidate has a legal right to a recount in most states when the difference is that close. I think most states trigger automatic recounts around .2%. Plus this is a hand recount audit not a full recount.

Also, the vast majority of Republican attack ads against moderates who lost mentioned their support for Nancy Pelosi. In many of them Republicans never even mentioned anything about progressives, just Pelosi.

The GOP attacks Pelosi because she's good at her job. Its nothing to her being a moderate or a progressive. Seriously, they called Harris a socialist. They're going to attack well-known Dems with every lie in the book.

Please get me a list of her 6 swing district democrats and I'll provide you the context behind their wins.

Here's an idea, maybe different districts and different states have electorates with different concerns that call for different campaign strategies.

Maybe instead of denouncing allies in your own party you should get together and start forming a comprehensive strategy for 2022.

I have a quick question... If exit polling is showing 70% support for progressive issues... what if the vast majority of that comes from NY and California? Do you have a set of statistics, of what support for those issues actually is, in states or districts that do not have overwhelming democrat support?
