God do I hope the Republicans tear each other apart over this. All of the Qanon far right and like minded in one faction and the more normal GOP in the other. Republicans would never win an even remotely close election again. Perhaps some degree of their own internal polling made it apparent that them refusing to admit Biden won was going to hurt them in Georgia more than they anticipated, either because people were sick of hearing about trump and the focus on the November election was distracting or because they realized refusing to admit Biden won and trump lost cast doubt on the entire electoral process they need their voters to show up for in Georgia.
