Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Joe Biden on his victory in the US presidential election Tuesday, six weeks after the vote and a day after the Electoral College officially affirmed Biden's win https://t.co/i00yDlam1D

Who hasn't conceded or congratulated Biden. Mitch McConnell, all but 6 Senators and 90% of elected House Republicans.

You're right Trumpsters are such easy fucking marks. They gladly will give you every cent they have if you tell them "MAGA for life" or "libtard tears are the sweetest". Then I remember I have ethics, morals, and a literal soul that if I did this I could never look myself in the mirror without hating myself by supporting Trump and his cult.

No surprise. McConnell and Biden will be squaring off a LOT starting in a month and a week. No need to antagonize Biden needlessly. Trump is history, Biden is the future.

You think trump is gonna accept this and won't tell people to boycott the special election? I'm not sure they'll be squaring off at all =)

Breaking: senatemajldr has just congratulated President-Elect JoeBiden & VP-elect SenKamalaHarris on Senate floor:

“Our country has officially a President-elect & a Vice President-elect..The Electoral College has spoken...Today, I want to congratulate Pres-elect Joe Biden."
Smart (but cowardly) move on the part of the GOP. They remained silent while the GOtrumP tried to destroy our democracy. And when the EC votes, they can say "now it's official", and tow that line, ignoring their moral cowardice.

God do I hope the Republicans tear each other apart over this. All of the Qanon far right and like minded in one faction and the more normal GOP in the other. Republicans would never win an even remotely close election again. Anything that wasn't neck deep in red the two Republican factions would be ripping each other apart to get votes and Dems would have easy roads to victories.

Perhaps some degree of their own internal polling made it apparent that them refusing to admit Biden won was going to hurt them in Georgia more than they anticipated, either because people were sick of hearing about trump and the focus on the November election was distracting or because they realized refusing to admit Biden won and trump lost cast doubt on the entire electoral process they need their voters to show up for in Georgia.

I think this is just wishful thinking. Lin Wood doesn't work for Trump, right?

I would love that to be the case, but the GOP is gonna do a lot to prevent that from happening. Even if it takes a back room scuzzy money deal with trump.

Them losing the senate is a harrowing blow to them for at least the next two years and I’m sure they’re prepared to do anything to stop it from happening.

Looks like I was off...by about an hour.

Trump goes on massive tweetstorm claiming unsubstantiated, debunked claims of 68% error by Domino's Pizza and that he prefers the cinn...hold on.

    (checks news)

By Dominion voting systems, and also, suggesting Michigan SecState could be going to jail.

If the Trump campaign had any actual evidence of wrongdoing — or genuine suspicion thereof — they could have requested a hand recount of every ballot in the state.
    -- Michigan SecState

Also, this tweet was sent 9AM the day after EC finished. "Too little too late" is the only phrase that describes Trump that actually involves the word "little".

...there might be another, something about penal codes.

Thanks for responding, but as per usual you made the mistake of not waiting 24 hours before Trump changes the rules.

Trump retweeted the accusatory claims and it no longer matters if Wood speaks officially for Trump or not. Trump clearly agrees.

This nonsense is getting a lot of steam in /r/conservative

Despite literally everything about it being nonsense, down to the "analyst" being the same guy that mistook Minnesota for Michigan previously. And the oddity that it'd literally only effect one race, the most obvious race, and only that race.

Conservatism seems pretty fuckin dead in the US, it's just reactionary conspiracy theorists, now.

    I stand corrected.

Give McTurtle some credit though, that was the smart play. Technically the EC count isn't official until they are cast (razor thin technicality, though).

    .
I wonder if Dominion has a wonderful case to sue the shit out of donny for outright slander/defamation ? corporations have rights too and can sue for damages and can sue him personally since he was using his personal twitter.
    Buh Byeeeeeeeeeeee !!
