Scroll down to the bottom and you can see how badly Trump stacks up against past presidents. Only ones he's close to are the ones who lost their re-election bid.
I see where you are coming from. The problem i have is a few of the pollsters have an extreme number of polls. Particularly yougov.

I wonder if they'll realize Gallup did weekly polls up until mid 2017...

How do you think it would effect polls if in an executive order Trump made english the national language?

Most people wouldn’t care, the racists like yourself would like it, the non-racists would hate it, leaving it the same.

Interesting piece on why Internet Cool Kids dont quite get Joe Biden's campaign.

WHY THE UNCLE JOE-CAN’T-INTERNET CRITICISM IS MOSTLY MALARKEY
Joe Biden is definitely losing the internet—but the North Star of his campaign is the normie voter, which means it shouldn’t become a meme factory. The golden rule: “Does this work for Joe?”

"Twitter has only two gears: cynicism and outrage...The media spaces occupied by journalists and pundits often feel immune to what Bengtson called Biden’s 'superpower'—relating to people, being warm, and caring about people."

    --unrelated--

Just a few days after the Biden campaign announced Arizona as a key target:
    ARIZONA
    Biden 50% (+7)
    Trump 43%

Title: Joe Biden gives Trump the new nickname 'President Tweety' and demands he get off social media and focus on the pandemic crisis

Good attack from the Biden campaign. Unfortunately, juvenile name calling is what wins elections. The best part of this attack is that it combines something substantive - Trump has really let America down with the way he has handled the virus problem - with something juvenile and silly.

Hopefully his campaign will follow this up with ads and such reinforcing both messages - President Tweety because he spends too much time playing on social media and not enough on work, combined with bringing attention to how many Americans his policies have killed.

On another thread Trunksee strongly defends these Trump policies that have killed so many people, calling these people unproductive and thus presumably useless and worthless. Americans absolutely have to ram Trunksee's attitude that retired people are expendable down their throat. This election is for all the marbles.

There's no purpose to making the official language English-only in the USA, other than to make certain racists happy. There's literally no advantage to be gained.

All an official language mandates is that communications from the government must be made available in that language. It doesn't mean stores have to serve you in that language. It doesn't mean people have to speak that language. Just government forms and communication and services. That's it. Making those English-only is a move that only serves to exclude Americans who don't speak English as well as their birth language. That's the only reason to make the USA English-only.

The better question is, if you're going to establish official languages for the USA, why only English? Why not Spanish? Better than 10% of American households speak Spanish primarily at home. But of course, the racists don't like that, and that's why they want English as the sole official language; to disenfranchise and exclude those Spanish-speaking Americans as much as possible. It's a position entirely rooted in prejudice and hatred, without any other value of any kind whatsoever.

He is not going to control himself to hold off, so he's going to keep the president tweety thing alive himself.

Meanwhile back on topic, Trump's overall approval is higher now than Obama's was this far into their respective reelection campaign year.
Almost seems like a problem that could be fixed... almost.

Of course But we still have to keep calling him President Tweety. We absolutely have to use the material he gives us against him. And he will give us a LOT of material.

Apparently the Pelosi quote about how someone as morbidly obese as Trump should not be taking the drugs he claims to be taking. So now variations of morbidly obese Trump are showing up in twitter feeds and such.

Anecdotal information: people insult Trump as a matter of course now. He is becoming a national punching bag.

Normally this is the kind of thing that would make me cringe a bit and feel sympathy for the person being made fun of. But Trump has used up all of his sympathy allowance. Every last bit of it. It is time for Americans to channel their Trump Derangement Syndrome, and be proud of it.

in some cases, the problem was created by automotive companies lobbying to destroy existing public transit.
so if it were widely implemented, conservatives would get marching orders from said lobbyists to protest in the name of "freedom to drive".

Online Left Pitchbot: Why dont Dems run popular astronauts in every race?!

New poll shows Sen. Martha McSally losing ground to Mark Kelly and that's not even the bad news

From the Republican uh-oh department: Arizona Sen. Martha McSally is sliding in the polls, dropping four percentage points in a month.
McSally now trails Democrat Mark Kelly by 13 points, according to the latest tracking poll by OH Predictive Insights.

If she could not beat pink tutu wearing antiwar/anticapitalist Kyrsten Sinema in Arizona, how does the GOP expect her to beat a former fighter pilot/astronaut/highly decorated Navy captain?

Trump tweeting about the Great Potato War of Virginia. Has me thinking about Virginia 2017.
Lots of messaging experts telling us that Northam's bad ads are going to cost him the election and more reasonable people holding out hope he'll win by 2 points.

    He won by 9.

Huh, so I guess Neil Cavuto reminding people that yes, hydroxychloroquine can fucking kill you triggered the shit outta Trump and Trump world. It's Twitter, so fake reality, but hot damn do they seem to be having some apoplectic fits over it.

She never had a chance against Kelly. It's a seat the dems are 100% picking up no question. But 13 points is massive. That's a spread total that effects the rest of the ticket. Now more than ever I'm convinced AZ is turning blue this election, which means Trump is in deep.

Trump called him an asshole, amongst other things, those tweets have since been deleted. But he did retweet some stuff an anti Trumper tweeted at him, He was so furious he couldn't even tell the difference.

I have a feeling John McCain is laughing in his grave right now. Trump did such a number on personally attacking McCain that he pissed off a lot of people in the state and they no longer support him.

Kind weird congratulating Trump for something, but credit where credit is due. Grats on switching Arizonian blue

Just more democratic hypocrisy. If Trump had said someone was morbidly obese, he would be accused of fat shaming. Does this mean he can do it now, since you allow Pelosi to do it? Or would you get mad about that, because hypocrisy is the democratic party bread and butter?
