I haven't bothered to look it up, but how do they deal with this double standard? Is it because the President is himself surrounded by armed guards, meaning that there are still plenty of guns around to kill the bad guys? I have to assume so...

They only dislike gun-free zones when there are brown people to threaten to kill. The only brown people in that rally are paid by Trump and co for their performance. So they're the good ones.

was thinking about the stimulus and how it may have avoided an actual great depression..
and it was very sad to see nancy pelosi and democrats bailing out republicans who really didnt even want bailed out

Edit 2: Relevant to current events, I think Obama’s pandemic response team and police reform that Trump dismantled, should seem like good things... but, you can’t... because Trump dismantled them. Kind of like US being ahead of schedule in Paris accord, but Trump left. Peace treaty with Iran, Trump left. Getting unemployment from double digits to 4.5%, but Trump has it at around 20%. Also, Trump failed to remove DACA, so don’t forget that one...

US foreign policy is almost never about what's best for the country or its people. Venezuela included. Venezuela has oil. A ton. And the country is finally in a state where its control of the oil is slipping.

Venezuela was screwed before Maduro. It's collapse was predicated before Chavez even died. The country had been in dire need of aide for a decade. The world watched the fire burn to see who could capitalize on the plot of land under the rubble.

Venezuela was allowed to get into the state it is now because Venezuela was black balled to ruin.

Maduro is a dick head. A coup is no better. Last stage intervention to prop up a puppet is the worst.
