Anyone who, at this point in 2020, still looks at the Trump Presidency and complains that Biden being a segregationist in the past is as much an active threat to the welfare of minorities as the former needs to be dismissed out of hand as being fundamentally dishonest. Cause y'all don't care about segregation, what you care about is having a talking point to attack a candidate you dislike. The clownery.

Biden and Trump are extremely similar candidates. Both are old, senile, reactionary, have dubious attitudes towards women and are both happy with war. Trump is if anything slightly more left-wing: less hawkish (probably because he's a coward but whatever..) and "only" racist towards poor ethnic minorities (check his legal war on discrimination in country clubs: if you are a rich ethnic minority he's nelson mandela).
Of course I'm sure you are going to indulge in some of the periodic cherry-picking Biden defenders do to justify voting for such a horrible candidate, much as Trump supporters do. But the truth is both are horrible candidates that are a deep global embarrassment, and are closer ideologically than in any presidential election in living memory or in any other recent election globally. You think otherwise because of media brainwashing and partisan tribalism-it is obvious to any one outside your bubble.
comrade, Trump is and has been an open authoritarian since the day he announced his run for president. he is running an openly fascist administration. as much as I despise Biden you're not going to convince myself or a lot of others that we need to vote 3rd way or not at all. when Biden is president it is crucial the left be there to mock and push him in the correct direction. as bad as the Dems are they are not as outlandishly evil like the republicans.
Should Biden win, it is crucial that Black Lives Matter reminds Biden of exactly who it was that gave Biden the votes to defeat Sanders. If Clyburn does not succeed in doing it voluntarily, then Biden needs to be protested just as much as Trump is now. If Clyburn DOES succeed, then we need to back Biden 100% to fiercely oppose the republican obstructionism.
But that is step 2. First let's get Trump out of office, and a democratic majority in the Senate. Without both of those happening, progress is impossible. Regardless of how the election goes, politics does not end once the election is over. If anything, that is when things will be heating up.
I would argue that the bolded is almost more important--and also probably less likely.
If the worst happens and Trump is reelected then there's no way he won't be getting at least 2 SCOTUS picks and most likely a third. RGB cannot go on forever and two others are being pressured to retire. That is, unless the Senate is no longer in GOP hands, in which case he can throw out as many options as he wants but he's not getting a yes-man in there again. He can also say goodbye to his lower court picks.
Don't get me wrong, another 4 years of that fucking assclown will likely ruin America one way or another, but without Senate authority behind him it'd be more cosmetic than anything.
You have absolutely no leverage over Biden once he's elected. He's loyal to his Dixiecrat base and Wall St, he does not care what you think in the slightest and he never will. You must have been born yesterday if you think you will impact any decision he makes in the slightest.

Yeah remind Joe how they rolled over and let the only real chance for real change in the fortunes of the black community for a generation slip through their fingers so they can elect a segregationist. Remind him how easily controlled and manipulated they are. Also remind him Sanders no longer exists as a political threat so no one can challenge his power.

What's that? Y'all gonna keep entertaining the ban-evading burner account? Well, alright then, wake me when it's done.
Meanwhile, Biden had a lot of great things to say about John Lewis while Trump robotically ordered the standard "half-mast flag" from ANOTHER golfing weekend.
Trump Honors Civil Rights Hero John Lewis with Impersonal Proclamation Sent From the Golf Course
Say what you want about Biden, but he's a true diplomat and much more suited to the office than the fucking bumbling shitbag in there now. 2016 and 2020 are the easiest votes of my life. Hopefully more people in the right cities/counties agree with me this time around.
Neither I nor any one needs your permission to point out he's a white segregationist, and so for all practical purposes is any one apologizing for him.

Of all the things that you could criticize Trump for....it is always shit like this that doesn't matter and no one cares about tomorrow. What about criticizing Trump's failure to...you know,,.create healthcare system that could have saved hundreds of thousands of American lives. Oh wait...you can't,...because Biden is every bit as useless on that score. Or anything else.
I look forward to frenzied masturbatory copy pasting from twitter when Trump says something dumb tomorrow, maybe you will win transitory approval from your corporate democrat friends!
