We're a little over 100 days from election (100 days and 11 hours)... A lot of unknowns, but to me the biggest figure continues to be that no prez with a net approval anywhere close to Trump's (-15 pts) at this point has ever been re-elected.

Biden has an almost 7 point lead in Florida.
Florida is likely D right now.

The GOP has not won a presidency without Trump's home state of Florida.

The numbers on a state by state basis for the 15 states targeted by Democrats are even more interesting.

Looking at 15 targeted states, Biden has increased his advantage by an average of about 4.5 points:

Wisconsin: +8 (from Trump +1 to Biden +7)
Arizona: +7 (from Trump +4 to Biden +3)
Minnesota: +6 (from Biden +5 to +11)

How Trump's administration spending their advertising money is also telling. Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Nevada, Ohio, North Carolina, Wisconsin, Iowa, Texas and Florida. They are strictly playing defense right now. Just trying to keep what they had in 2016. In TX Trump and the GOP are outspending Biden 15M investment by a factor of more than 3 to 1. Biden just started advertising in Florida, while Trump and the GOP has already spent 41M.

I heard somebody said that the GOP basically has a dog food problem. They think that they had the best dog food in the world, they wrapped it in the best packaging that money can buy, spent hundreds of millions on the slickest advertising campaign. They just have one problem. The dogs won't eat the food.

Mike Dukakis had a 17-point lead over Bush in '88 at this point in the year and see how well that turned out for him.

Section 213 – Safe and healthy workplace tax credit

modifications to workspaces for the purpose of protecting employees and customers from the
spread of COVID-19, and “qualified workplace technology expenses,” including contactless point of-sale systems and other technology to track employee interactions with customers. Qualified workplace reconfiguration expenses and qualified workplace technology expenses must have a
primary purpose of preventing the spread of COVID-19 among other requirements.
An employer’s qualified employee protection expenses, qualified workplace reconfiguration
expenses, and qualified workplace technology expenses are limited based on the employer’s
average number of employees. In each calendar quarter, qualified expenses cannot exceed a cap
based on the average number of employees. The cap is equal to $1,000 for each of the first 500
employees, plus $750 for each employee between 500 and 1000, plus $500 for each employee that
exceeds 1,000.

The credit also permits self-employed individuals, including sole proprietors, independent
contractors, and farmers, to claim a refundable credit against income taxes for the same types of
COVID-19 related expenses. Self-employed individuals are treated as if they are an employer with
a single employee for purposes of the credit.

The credit applies to amounts paid or incurred for qualified employee protection expenses after
March 12, 2020 and before January 1, 2021.
