Trump completely fucked up Covid and it might cost him election that was otherwise supposed to be an easy win. If Biden wins it will be interesting to see how long he will last until his mental health makes him unfit for the office.

He didn’t just fuck up covid. Covid simply exposed a lot of things Trump has been doing. Trump cut CDC budget by 19%, including pandemic response team. Kicked millions off healthcare through his cuts to ACA. In large part because we were already breaking spending records, because Trump’s corporate tax cut during an economic boom, significantly cut tax revenue. To compound this, Trump’s trade wars, resulting in massive spending to save farms that were getting pummeled by the trade war.

Covid simply sped up the clock on Trump’s massive sacrifice for short term immediate gain. It’s why US is in worse shape then just about anywhere else. The spending needed, was spent by Trump during an economic boom and as part of spending his way out of Trade Wars. The systems in place to protect from disasters like this, were defunded, because they don’t provide Trump with an immediate boost and are usually invisible to the public, to be cut without complaint.

This is an indictment of electing politicians who only think of making them selfs look good, by shitting on the future, with short term gains.

If Biden wins, I give it until June, for Fox News to run stories about Biden being president when covid came to US in 2020. It’s the same thing they did with TARP and Obama... so... I’m guess what ever mental illness causes that, will persist through this election.

That’s what I mean... TARP passed in 2008... Obama even cut it nearly in half... with even democrats conceding that it might actually been a mistake, because the return on the loans, was far more than US invested. Despite all this, including justifiable blame if you looked at it from the return perspective, people still blamed Obama for bank bail outs.

In 10 years, there will never have been a Republican president since George HW Bush. Clinton signed that stupid NAFTA then got impeached for having an affair with an intern before starting the Iraq War in response to 9/11. Obama kept the Iraq War going while drone striking everything and letting Wall Street loot the economy because he was too busy failing to deal with Katrina. Biden failed to deal with COVID and tanked the economy.
