Polls in 2016 were some of the most accurate polls on a national level in a long time. but we know popular polls < state polls < EC results right?

doesnt matter. polls mean nothing. people voting does. the chart for ashes is listed as 2% it means there's a low chance of getting it but you wont get it unless you kill the boss. same thing for voting. these polls are useless and used but nothing to sway and manipulate people with bias news.

Apparently some video from 2010 has surfaced showing Karen Bass praising Scientology as a speaker at an opening for that "church", so that's going to be a factor in whether or not she's chosen as VP, for sure.

so alot of trumpers are going to say ' election was rigged because on election day trump was leading" they tried to do with florida in 2018

If the election results call Biden as the winner, then I frankly could give two shits about how uppity Trump's little cult gets. They'd get uppity no matter what.

They'll swiftly find themselves without a single friend in congress outside of a lame duck Trump. The republicans, in an effort to save their own hides, will be fleeing the Trump ship like gangbusters. And I very much doubt Biden and his administration will be so forgiving, excusing and pardoning to any deranged right-wing loonies that see fit to act out as Trump has been.

This is my fear as well. A lot of ballot machines with "missing" or "compromised" data, mail-in ballots lost in bulk and/or key polling stations abruptly closed or having their hours shifted around with little to no prior notice. I also wouldn't put it past them to orchestrate large misinformation campaigns to confuse people as to when or where to vote or send their ballots in to.

My only consolation is that the democrats certainly aren't going to let this go down without a fight, and I doubt too many republicans in congress want to play the Trump game for very much longer. It'll be Trump and his hand-picked band of toadies trying to pull this all off.

I still stand by the fact that Trump could've coasted to a relatively easy 2020 win if he actually did anything meaningful about COVID-19 back in January when he was briefed on it. His approval would've gone up, he could've run on his 'I saved you all from getting sick and dying!!' platform with more tangible results, and spun the inevitable outbreaks in major metropolitan cities as 'Democratic failure' and shown himself as the benevolent savior swooping in to save them.

But instead he couldn't get over himself long enough to acknowledge something that made him 'look bad' and it's caused a catastrophic domino effect that's primed to smother our economy and is already over-taxing our health care providers.

Quick Edit: This opinion was something formed back before the BLM protests started up, so it's very likely he'd still have rather dreary approval ratings in this hypothetical scenario where he actually gave a shit about COVID yet was still determined to frame the protests as Lawless Rioters and Terrorists and sicked Federal Thugs at them. They probably wouldn't be 'Texas might actually turn purple???' bad, but you get my point.

At this point the only way he could've made this worse is if he actively - and willfully - encouraged its spread in our country but... Between actively undermining the advice of medical professionals and Kushner's willingness to let Blue States get sick for political points, they might have already crossed that line.
