We have no idea how many people will end up staying at home on election night and refuse to mail in a ballot. In general, I think fear of covid is much higher on the left than the right, so we can probably expect covid to suppress the democrat vote more than the republican vote. One issue is democrat groups hire buses on election day to shuttle people in the city from their homes and apartments to the voting centers and voters aren't going to want to get on those buses this year from fear of covid. That could suppress the democrat vote TREMENDOUSLY.

Hilarious isn't it? He has been deliberately trying to suppress the use of mail in ballots to increase his chances of winning. But all he's done is suppress his own voters.

I know this was already brought up, but it's officially my new biggest worry for the election is the Postal Service - which saw it's own "Friday Night Massacre" on Aug 7, when Trump fired two dozen senior postal employees.

This is terrifying.

I already posted about how badly the Postal Service is doing - that's the fucking POINT. They aren't doing well, which is exactly what Trump wants - the postal service to fail precisely at the time we need it to deliver the ballots to vote him out of office. Warren can't be getting a cabinet post. The Senate is already going to be tight to flip - if we lose her seat it might stay Red.

How am I wrong about the second one? It's fairly well-known that his short-list is three candidates and several of those you listed aren't on it or aren't interested. You presented it as if all of them--including Pete--were in consideration.
Of course I'm right about the last one--as I was with the previous two. Anyone who isn't a forum troll already knows all of this.

Oh I'm certain several of those are also just "you backed me, now here's how we can work together" talks, Warren included. I would be both surprised and, like you, a bit dismayed if she took a Cabinet position given the importance of her Senate seat.
